After meeting Lindsey, the speaker ditched random YouTube workouts for her structured Max 20 and NML protocols: sequenced blocks of 3-4 sessions per week paired with stable nutrition. Consistency with a real plan beats perfection and one-off videos.

Something that really like opened my eyes was meeting Lindsey. And I was then like doing random workouts of hers on YouTube and she came on my podcast and she's like, you need to stop doing random workouts on my YouTube and actually follow a progressive program where I'm like programming each week in the way that she does Max 20 and all the other workouts in NML. And it has like changed everything for me where I'm like, oh my God, I can't believe that I used to just do random workouts and now have a progressive training and like now repeating weeks 3, 4, or 1, 2, and 3 as to 3 weeks as 4, 5, and 6 for Max 20, where nutrition is the same. It's like, this is the easiest way for me to explain it, is that like one recipe or one YouTube workout is not going to change your life. But when you have it sequenced together in a way that is thoughtfully— not that you have to be 100%, like I'm only doing 3 to 4 workouts per week of NML, and then I'm like a little bit behind you guys— but being able to pull everything together is the way that you change your physiology, not just by trying to like piecemeal random recipes together online.
