Nice. We are live. Good morning and happy New Year. Happy new year. Happy 2022. We are pumped to be here. Hi, I'm Lindsey Baumgren of Nourishment Love. And today I made my husband Tim work out with me. He's really excited to be here doing this workout, you guys. He loves working out on camera with me. It's his favorite thing to do. Just kidding. But you guys be really excited about today's workout, okay? And we are so excited because today's workout is brought to you in partnership with our good friends at Lulu, which we are rocking and supporting. We love their gear and we're super pumped about it. And you can check out, we will link below exactly what Tim is wearing. So his favorite Lulu gear. So you can see some of the favorite men's gear. And then we'll link some of my favorite gear as well. And what I'm wearing, which is this awesome new blue Nile color, which I really love this color. Nice little pop and a great way to start the new year. And we are pumped to start the new year strong with you guys. Okay, so total transparency. We have four kids trapped in the basement right now that we are watching. And so we're like put on a movie really quick and we're hoping this goes well. We were going over all the reasons you should not come upstairs and they were like, what if there's a fire? Like, okay, then you can come upstairs. So yeah, anyway, so if that happens, just, you know, so you're fully aware. But we are really pumped to be here. We are also getting over a couple colds. So we are gonna just do our best and forget the rest and you guys can follow along with us. Let me tell you about today's workout. This is what I like to call the dirty 30 format. Okay? So it is a quick and effective 30 minute workout. Basically, it's a 30 minute butt kicking, full body workout. And all you're going to need for today's workout is a set of dumbbells. Okay, so all you need is a set of dumbbells and it looks like this. You have five circuits. Each circuit has three exercises. Okay? You know the first move for 30 seconds and go right into the second move. So two strength moves back to back. We go base and then you build, you add a little bit of intense and then you go all out. 30 second power move. Okay? And then we repeat each circuit twice. So it's quick and dirty. You only got to do each move for 30 seconds. But that build into that one minute of consecutive work is pretty tough. OK. So do your best. Forget the rest. All you need is a set of weights. Let me check in and make sure you guys are here. Awesome. Happy New Year. You can see us, you can hear us. Great. How are we doing on YouTube? We are checked in Christine from Philadelphia and awesome. We have Patricia and we have the Sunshine Sisters and Ashley and Kristen and Tammy. And so many of you guys are here this morning. Let's see what's going on. See what's going on. Check it out. That's what the live feed looks like. Okay, guys, we are so pumped you are here and we are ready to start the new year strong with you. Because after this, we are kicking off Monday, our new hit strong 35 challenge. New workouts, dropping every day. So pumped about it. I'll chat more about that during the end of the workout. Okay, guys, let's get started with a good body weight. Warm up. You ready? Yep. You ready? Okay, feet are stacked underneath your hips. Big inhale, reach up nice and tall. Exhale, baby. Back bend. Just pull those arms down. Nice. Just flap the wings. Flap the wings. Create some space. Open up the chest, the shoulders. Nice. Get ready to create some movement in the body today. It's going to be a fun one. Okay, you're here for four. Three. We go into squats in two. And let's just squat it out. So you're just squatting down, up right here. And this is your favorite warm up move. Get those knees loose. Yep, get those knees loose. All right, you guys make sure those knees are pushing out towards those outer three toes. Chest up. Drive through the heels, stand tall. Nice. So warming up those legs right here. Awesome job. Nice. Go for four. Three. You're gonna hold high in two and one. Take the hands, the hip. Just give me a little hip hinge. Push the hips, back drive through the heels. Stand tall. Open up that posterior chain. Back side of the body. Now, first circuit, we're going to put together a big movement. We're going to walk through it in 3, 2, 1. Take your right hand as if it had a dumbbell hinge. Tap it on the ground. Drive up, load it, squat it, stand, hinge drive, squat, stand, hinge, drive, squat, stand. So you're getting that hinge movement for the back side of the body, that squat for the front side of the body. Hinge, drive, squat, stand. One more hinge drive, squat. Hold that squat. Just hold it here and pulse for 4. 3, 2. Stand up. Kick your butt. Butt kick yours. Just run it out. Heels to the glutes. Hit the backside of the body, the quads. We're doing that same thing. Pretend like the weight is loaded in the left hand. In three, two. Let's go, let's go. Hinge, squish, whoops. Squat. Stand, hinge. Drive it overhead. Squatted. Stand it. It's a nice and it's good. Basically, it's a snatch with the front squat. Just warming up the legs. Nice. Right here, right here. Give me one more. Awesome. Then you're gonna hold that squat. Hold that squat. Hold impulse for four. Three hands plant to the ground. And two. And one. Plant your hands to the ground. Step back. Find a high plank. Shoulder stacked over wrist. Core stays and tight. Now dropped your knees. I have Betty locked here. I'll be adding an incline today. Hold that plank for 3, 2, 1. Step your right foot outside your right hand. Nice, easy twist. Gaze follows fingertips. Right here. Shoulder sweeps. If you can. Sweep that right arm to the back of the room. Warm up the shoulders, the hips. 3, 2, 1. Replant the hand. Step back. 2. Push ups, knees or toes. Down, up, down, up. Find that plank. Left foot outside left hand. Easy twist right here. Sweeps to the back of the left arm. Shoulder sweeps. Opening up the hips while we get some shoulder sweeps in for 3, 2, 1. Step back. Find a high plank right here. Drive your knees towards your chest. Slower. Faster. 8, 7, 6. You got it. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Slow burpee step. The right foot, the left foot. Stand up. Take it down. Step back. Step back. Go left foot then right foot. Stand up. One more each way, guys. Nice. Right here. Go. Right foot, right foot, left foot. Nice. Take it back. One more. Other side. Nice. Stand up. Let's just jack it. Couple jacks. Jack, jack option. Tap it. Tap it or jack. Go for eight, seven, six. Hold those feet nice and wide. In three, two, one. Hold wide. Right here. Push. Side, center, side center. Nice. We're gonna get some lateral squats in today too. Get those outer glutes working. Power those side to side movements. Nice. Full body workout today, guys. 30 minutes is gonna be quick and dirty. You do your best, okay? You can go as heavy as you choose using just one dumbbell. For the first circuit, I'm gonna add Betty the boxing incline. Go for nice. 3, 2, last one. Take a nice wide leg forward fold. Just let it all stretch it out. Walk those feet underneath your hips. Roll up one vertebrae time and get to the top. Two big shoulder rolls. Roll those shoulders up, down and back. Drive those knees up. High knees. Let's finish that. Warm up Right here. Drive those knees up. Let's go. 8, 7, 6. You got it. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. You guys warm? Ready to do this thing? Hello, Juju. Hello, Tish. You guys are awesome. Welcome from Canada. We got people from all over the map joining us. Nice. How much time is left? We just started, guys. Just started. We got 30 minutes on the clock to knock this out. I'm going to show you the moves in your first circuit. Okay, first circuit is mostly squats. Okay? Try and go heavy if you can. Let's see. I'm gonna start heavy. Start heavy and see where we land. We'll start with the weight in our right hand. Weight in your right hand. You're gonna load it like this, palm facing me. I'm just gonna hold here and I'm gonna do a front squat for 30 seconds. As soon as I finish that front squat for 30 seconds, we go right into that move. We warmed up with snatch and squat. So it looks like this hinge, snatch, lid overhead, load it to the front, squatted. Okay? 30 seconds on the front squat. Uneven load. Keep that core tight. 30 seconds right into snatch and squat. Then we'll rest for 30 and I'll show you your power move. Are you ready, honey? Let's do this thing. Let's do this thing. He's pumped, right? Let's knock it out. Get it done. We start this year strong. Here we go. I'm going to start that 30 second timer. Okay, front squat. Load it up. Dumbbell. The right hand. If you have two lighter weights, just give me a double load. Okay. You can always double load it. We go in 3. Grab your weights. 2. Let's squat. So you're just squatting right here. Down, up. Okay. You got the weight loaded on the right side of the body. Nice. Okay. It's not comfortable to front load it. You can always load it at the side. Getting me uneven. Squat right there. Loading the weight on one side of the body forces that core to work a little bit harder. Okay, nice work. You got 10 seconds here and then you go directly into the snatch with a front squat. One snatch, one squat. That's where we go. Okay? In five, four, three, two. Here we go. Drop it. Hinge, drive, load it. Squatted. Stand it. Hinge, drive, load it. Squatting, stand it. Okay, so now the squat was your base. This is your build, okay? And we rest for 30 seconds after this before you go into power. You got it? Base, build power. One of the formats you will find in our new hit strong 35 workout program.
