The video features Lindsey Bomgren introducing a calming, light‑themed mantra (“We are the light of the world…”) followed by an instructor (Speaker B) guiding a hip‑ and hamstring‑focused stretching sequence designed as a post‑workout or morning mobility routine. The instructor walks viewers through each pose step‑by‑step—starting in Downward Dog, moving through hip‑opening leg lifts, oblique side stretches, hamstring releases, quad holds, and a final calming stretch for intention setting—while encouraging breath awareness, personal pacing, and a sense of gratitude toward the body. The overall purpose is to provide a gentle, energizing way to round out a workout or start the day with both physical release and a positive, light‑filled mindset.
We are the light of the world we are the city on a hill we are the light of the world and we gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine we are the light of the world hi, it's Lindsey.
With nourishment Love and I have an awesome stretching sequence, you guys. It's the best way to round out any workout. Okay, so take this at your own pace. You can feel free to hold poses much longer than I do. I'm just gonna show them to you. So we're gonna start in down dog, pushing it up and back. Pedal off those feet if need to. Or just plant those heels firmly on the ground or press them down towards the ground. Push one leg up, flex the foot, bend the knee. Take a nice hip opening stretch. Square the hips up, back to the ground and drive that tuck between the hands. Drop the back knee down to the ground. Bring it on up.
Right here.
You're gonna reach up and over to the side, stretching through those obliques. And then bring the hands down to heart center and twist to the side, trying to drive the palms together. Nice twist. And then walk the hands back down to the mat. Take that hand right inside the ankle and take a nice hip opening stretch here, pushing into it. Bring it back and you can stretch back, lengthening through that front leg, feeling the release of the hamstring, sliding the belly. Hang heavy onto the quad, walk it back up and then gently guide your ankle. Or walk it over into your best version of half the gym. Pressing up and away from the mat first, feeling that, releasing the hip flexor and then slowly walking it down to the forearm. So you can finish right here with a nice calming stretch, pushing into this outer boot. And this is where you can set your intentions for the day. Go ahead and take a couple breaths here and then you'll slowly unwind, push back up into down dog and repeat that full sequence on the other side. Enjoy the stretch, you guys. Send some love to those muscles wherever you're sight, wherever you're tight and sore.
We are the light of the world we are the city on a hill.
