This is your full body pyramid workout requested by you guys because you love pyramid workouts and challenges. I have the awesome. Rachel. Hi. She's gonna be offering modifications. This is a single dumbbell workout. All you need is one dumbbell. I have anywhere from 15 to 20 pounds. Try and go heavy because you're using just one weight. This is gonna be a muscular endurance test, a strength test. You're laying it all out on the table to finish stronger than you started. Are you ready, Rachel? I'm ready. Let's do it. Alright, if you've joined us for a pyramid workout, you know what to expect. If you've never done a pyramid workout, buckle up. It's about to get real fun in here. You have five full body exercises. Big, complex moves. You're doing each exercise for 30 seconds of work, followed by 30 seconds of rest. But we stack on as we go up the pyramid. So you go from exercise 1, 1, 2, 1, 2, 3 and so on. Once we get to the top of the pyramid, we get a nice little break and then we work our way back down in reverse order. We're gonna round out around 25 minutes. It's gonna be a good full body sweat session. Quick and dirty. You ready, Rach? Let's go. Let's do it. We are getting ourselves pumped. We love a good pyramid day. Let's do this thing. We're gonna start with a good old warmup. So first of all, just give me a big inhale rol. Fingers up. Exhale, back and down. One more time. Big inhale, big exhale. Back and down. Step it a little bit wider. We're going squat. Reach. Squat and reach. Tap the floor and reach. You don't have to tap the floor. Whatever feels good for you today. Just trying to get a little bit lower with each squat. Take it down and reach. You got it. Inhale and exhale. Tall. Nice. Go. 4. You're gonna hold that squat in. 3. Nice work. Go. 2. 1. Now pretend you have a dumbbell right here in your right hand. You're gonna pulse, switch, snatch. Down, switch, snatch. So a little pulse at the bottom. Big Pull up overhead. I'm not pulling the weight overhead with my arms. I'm using my legs. Drive through the heels. Power those hips forward. Stand up. Squat. Switch, snatch. You got it. One more right there. Boom. It's big. It's powerful. Take it to the back of your mat. Plank walkout. Big. Inhale up. Exhale forward. Fold. Walk out. Find a high plank. Nice work. Hold it here. Step your right foot outside right hand. Left foot outside left hand. Couple Spider man step ins here. Big steps. Nice. Trying to get that foot up to the hand. Opening those hips a little bit more with each step. You want good hip mobility for this workout. Right here. Nice. Let's go one more each way. Nice. Hold that right foot outside that right hand this time. Big easy twist. Gaze. Follow fingertips. Drop the elbow down. Twist towards the knee, the shin, the calf, whatever you got today. Open it back up. One more time. Drop it down. Nice work. Step back. Switch it out. Other side. Big easy twist. Take it down. Nice. Do it again. Big easy twist. Take it down. Plant the hands on the ground. Step back. Find a high plank. Walk your feet into a bear crawl so knees are hovering just off the mat. From here, you can drop to the knees if you want. I'm going to row and row. Pull the elbow to hip, elbow to hip for eight. Seven, six. You got it. Five, four, three, two, and one. Drop those knees down to the mat right here. Draw a big hip circle on that right knee. Take it back. Reverse it. Nice. Hip circles. Nice and big. And reverse it. You got it. Nice. Big hip circle. And reverse. One more right here. Big hip circle. Bring it back. Kick that right leg out. Inhale up. Exhale. T. Spine rotation. Thread that needle. Nice work. Bring it back. Big. Inhale up. This time, hand behind the head. Little tap the elbow and rotate through that spine. Tap and rotate. Two more. Tap and rotate. One more tap and rotate. Find that high plank. Step back. Two push ups. Knees or toes down, up, down, up. Walk those feet back in. Bear crawl. Knees drop. Hover left knee draws hip circles. Here we go. Big circle. Reverse it. Circle back. Nice. Big circles. Warming up that hip, Taking it through that full range of motion. Nice. You got two more big ones right here. Nice. That's one awesome job. Give me one more. And two. Bring it back. Kick it out right here. Big. Inhale up. Exhale. Thread the needle. Rotate through the spine, neck, ear, shoulder to mat. Bring it back up. Hand behind the head. Drop and open. Think about keeping those ribs tucked down towards those hips as you rotate through that spine to open Nice. Open. You've got two more open. Last one. Nice. Step back. Find that high plank. Give me one more push up. One more push. Up. Down. Up. Slow. Burpee. Step and step. The right foot, the left foot. Stand up. Take it down. Step back. Switch that lead foot. Go left, right, Up. Down. Back. Nice work, nice work. One more each way. You got it. Take it down. Step back. Switch that lead foot. Up, up. You're here to stay. Take it nice and wide. Lateral hits. Hit side to side. Side to side. You got it. 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Bring it up to standing. All right, we're going to take you through your final move of the pyramid. It's a big one. Pretend you have a weight right here. Hinge, hinge, hinge. Deadlift, Clean. Step back. Pivot, squat, stand. Hinge, clean, pivot, squat, stand. You're going to push overhead as you stand. Hinge, clean, pivot, squat, push. Hinge, clean, pivot, squat, push. If you don't like the pivot squat, you don't have to do it. One more each way. Boom. It just adds a little bit of motion into twisting rotation, our transverse plane. Last one. You good, Rach? Let's do it. Let's do this thing pyramid style. We stack it on. Grab your one weight. I'm gonna try and start heavy. Try and start heavy. All right, guys, your first move. Squat. Pulse. Hand switch. Big snatch. Rachel's gonna do a clean instead of a snatch. So if I start with the weight in my right hand, it looks like this. Squat. Switch. Switch, snatch. Down, down. Switch, snatch. Down, down. Nice. Snatch it, rack it, load it. Okay, that's what it looks like. You ready? You're gonna do it for 30 seconds. Let's do it. It's big, it's powerful, and it's how we start this pyramid. This is your base move. You're gonna do it on repeat. Because we build on dumbbell right hand. Find a nice, comfortable squat position. Hand switch at the bottom, snatching with our left arm first. 30 seconds. On in three, two. Let's go, let's go. Squat. Switch, snatch. Load. Down, switch, snatch. You're getting a little extra time under tension at the bottom. Drive through those heels, drive those hips to stand you tall. Power that weight overhead. Nice. It's an option. You can go to that clean that shoulder rack with Rachel. Pulse. Switch. Snatch. Rack. Down. Switch. Come on, chest up. Eyes up at that bottom right here. Nice. Boom. Yes. Final. Three, two, one. Rest for 30 seconds. Okay, we're gonna start with that move again. So you're gonna do that squat switch, snatch. I'll say that five times fast. Now, I'm gonna go right from that down into a bear crawl row. I'll show you from the side. So my knees are gonna hover off the ground like they did. Dumbbell's gonna go in the middle. I alternate row and row. Rachel's gonna give you a low squat hold. Low squat hold in a row. Okay, let's do low squat hold in a row. All right, 10 more seconds and you're back on that. 30 seconds starts. We go. Grab that weight. Let's go right hand again. Right hand again. You're there in three, two. Let's go. Pulse, switch, snatch, rack. Pulse, switch, Snatch, rack. Pulse, switch. Nice. You're going to one minute of work this time. So you're doing the moves back to back. It's right from here down into that bear crawl. Row with me. Option low plank roll with Rachel. It's just one dumbbell, so you're gonna alternate arms each times. Dumbbells gonna go in the middle of the hands. Nice work, guys. Right here. Five seconds. Transition in four, three, two. Hit the ground. Dumbbells between my hands. Low bear crawl hold, row and row. 30 seconds. Right here. Alternate those rows. You can stay standing with Rachel. Nice. If you're with me, knees are just hovering right off the mat, pulling elbow to hip, alternating the row. Nice work. This is a good workout to challenge yourself. If you've got just one dumbbell, go heavy. If you don't have heavy weights, load it up with two dumbbells, guys, right here. Your break comes in five, four, three, two. Recover. 30 seconds to rest. Rest for 30. Breathe it in. All right, now we stack on squat. Switch hand, switch, snatch, bear crawl rows. What's the best way to get up off the ground, Rachel? It's gotta be burpee. It's gotta be a burpee. She says right here, the dumbbell is gonna stay between my hands. I do a push up. It's a staggered stance burpee. So one foot's outside, one foot's behind. Stand up, take it down. Push up. Switch. My staggered stance, stand up. Okay, that's where we go, guys. That's where we go. You're there in three, two. Dumbbell. Right hand. Let's go. Squat. Switch, snatch. Down, down. That was awkward. Switch, snatch. Load it. Here we go. Up, down, down. Nice work. Right here. Come on. It's 30 seconds per move. This is your base move. Yes. How many reps do you think you're gonna get of this Move today. Oh, gosh. Come on, come on. You got it right here. Transition bear crawl in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Dumbbell goes between my hands. I'm going right into this alternating bear crawl row. I'm gonna face camera this time because we're gonna go right from this into that push up, staggered burpee. Get up. Nice work. Pull elbow to hip, Set it down. Elbow to hip. Set it down. You got it. One row at a time. This? Yeah. This bear crawl row always gets so spicy. You guys, come on. 10 seconds here in the bear crawl row. You're transitioning right out of this one. Push up one. Staggered stance. Burpee, get up in three, two. Let's go. Step back. Push up. Here we go. Push up. Stagger stance. Get up. Set it down. Back to push up. Push up. Burpee. Staggered stance. Nice. So one foot is going outside my dumbbell, one foot is going behind my dumbbell. Nice. Sacred stance. Stand up. Nice work. Rachel's got a push up with a nice wide climber tap. Gonna challenge you as well. Come on. 10 seconds here, guys. 10 seconds on the burpee. Get up. Let's go. Last five, four, three, two. Set it down. Grab some water. 30 seconds to recover. Okay, we stack it on one. This is where it starts to build. It feels at this point. Yep. Okay, that was move 3. Move 4. Go right from the burpee. Hold your dumbbell like this. We're going to alternate. Lateral lunge. Lateral lunge curl switch. Lateral lunge curl switch. Nice work. All right, you got about five seconds left on that timer. We're going to switch here. All right, you go in three, two, two. Let's go. Squat pulse. Switch, rack load. Switch, rack load. Nice work, guys. We stack it on. What is it, Rach? Four moves. Thirty seconds per move. Two minutes. Two minutes of work. Saying that, though. I was like, just 30 seconds at a time. Yep. We break it down like that. One rep at a time. 10 seconds in this move, bear crawl rows. That's where we go. Finish stronger than you started, right? Come on. Five, four. Hit the mat in three, two. Hit the mat. Hand weight between the hands. Find that bear crawl right here. Row and row. Nice work. Just keep rowing one arm at a time. Rose. Nice work, nice work. Come on. Pull. Elbow to hip. Set it down with control. Elbow to hip. Set it down with control. How square and stable can you keep those hips to the ground? How low can you keep those knees together to the mat? Let's go. 10 seconds here, and then it's your push up. Staggered stance, Burpee, get up. Push up. Staggered stance, Burpee, get up. In 5, 4, 3, 2. Set that dumbbell down. Step back. Find that high plank. Push up. Sacred stance. Get up, take it down. Hopper. Step back. Push up option. Stay on the mat with Rachel. Push up. Wide climber. Come on, come on. It's your pace. It's your level. It is you versus you. It is day 10 of stronger 25. Come on. You leave it all on the mat here today. You leave it all on the mat. 10 more seconds. 10 more seconds. Yes, you can. Right from this lateral lunge curl switch in three, two. Let's go there. Grab your weight. We'll step right, step right, curl switch. Step left, curl, switch, Step right. Balance is just an option. Switch. Rib cage to thigh balance. Nice. Really think about driving off that bent knee. Powers me up. Switch. Decelerate. Accelerate. Switch. 10 seconds. 10 seconds. That 30 second break, it's on the other side. Yes. Switch. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Rest for 30. Rest for 30. Nice work. Rest for 30. Just keep the timer rolling. We rest for 30. There we go. Awesome job. Grab your water, guys. Rach, this is it. Five moves up. Five moves up. It's the hardest, hardest segment of the pyramid. It's right here. Okay, say, yes, I can. Your final move. Remember, we practice it. Deadlift, clean pivot squat press. You're gonna alternate that. Pivot squat. That's move five. Stack it on, stack it on. Dumbbell. Right hand squat. Pulse switch. Squat, pulse. Switch in three and two. Let's go. Hardest round of the pyramid right here, baby. Come on. Yes, you can. Yes, you can. Five moves. Rachel's not gonna tell us it's two minutes. Nope, no math here. Seconds of work. She's gonna tell you it's one rep at a time. That's what it is. It's one rep at a time. Break it down. Find a cadence and a rhythm you can stick with for one rep at a time. You got 10 seconds here on this move. 10. 10 seconds. Down to the mat. Bear crawl. Row, low squat rows. That's where we're going. 5, 4, 3, 2. Let's go. Hit it, hit it. Come on. Bear crawl. Bear crawl. Row. Nice. Knees, hover. Come on. Catch your breath. Right here. It's a little bit more of a strength move, but you're holding a bear crawl or a low squat, so it's hard. Yes, you can. We go right from this back to power. Burpee, push up. Burpee, stagger, get up. Push ups with Rachel because she's working on those. Yes, she is. Ten more seconds. Ten more seconds here. Quick transition. No break between moves. You're moving in four, three, two. Let's go. Let's move. Come on. Push up. Sacred stance. Get up. Stand up. Set it down. Jump or step back. Push up. Sacred stance. Get up. Just because it's a burpee is doesn't mean I lose control. This is still a very controlled movement, guys. Very controlled movement. You said one time no floppy fish burpees. I think about that all the time. No floppy fish burpees. No floppy fish controlled burpees. 10 seconds, standing up. Lateral lunge and curl. That's where you're going. Yes. In five, four, three. I gotta do one more pushup. Two and one. Come on up. Here we go. Hit right, hit right. Curl, switch. Hit right. Curling. Give me a little high knee switch if you want to. Up. Nice work. Rib cage to thigh, up. Come on. It's move four or five. Three, two, let's go. Deadlift, clean. Pivot right press. Overhead rack. Deadlift, clean. Pivot left, push. Overhead rack hinge clean. Come on. It's the final move in your pyramid. The one minute break. Oh. How good is that gonna feel? You've hit the top of your pyramid. In three, two. Set it down. Top of the pyramid, baby. You've climbed it. You know what? Once you climb Everest, you gotta go back down. We gotta descend, but it's downhill, downhill from here. Okay? Grab your water, quick rest of recovery.
