#10 CEO of Testosterone - Blueprint to Turning Your Life Around
13 Aug 2023 · 68 min
In this episode Rob Lipsett interviews Jack Hopkins, known online as the "CEO of Testosterone," covering Jack’s personal journey from early fascination with women to becoming a digital‑nomad entrepreneur. Jack shares a vivid cold‑approach story in Moscow, his formative influences (books like The Rational Male and a mentor named "Big G"), and the concept of looks‑maxing—using fitness, grooming, fashion and mindset to dramatically improve one’s appearance and confidence. They discuss strategic lifestyle setups for dating, including Dan Bilzerian’s "setup" principles, the logistical advantage of venues like Las Vegas nightclubs, and how proximity to a hotel can close deals. Jack outlines his daily routine while based in Bangkok, detailing gym work, content creation, sales, and a high‑protein diet. A dramatic episode from an Ibiza villa party recounts a theft that stripped him of designer goods and documents, leading to a reflection on the impermanence of material possessions versus personal achievement. The conversation moves to the value of networking events, the ROI of a single connection, and Jack’s upcoming business plans: expanding the New Elite membership, the 10K Accelerator course, and a content‑mania push with lifestyle vlogs. Finally, Jack promotes his YouTube channel (CEO of Testosterone) and Instagram (Jack Hopp Fitness) as primary platforms for his audience.

My mind's been exploded because I've really seen what is possible for somebody to do if they follow that path less traveled. Because I remember working in sales jobs and trying my absolute best, like really trying hard and getting dialed in and selling stuff and making like maximum 4 or 5 grand in a month. You just need to be confident in yourself. So cold approach, there's a video I have says what to do before you cold approach.
Yeah.
And the cold approach, before you do that, just become the man that is, is confident in himself. So when you've gone gym, you've stacked a bit of cash, you're feeling good, you will not find it hard to approach women anymore. When you're looking good and you feel good in your skin, you dress well. But a lot of guys, they want a trick so they can be a bum and go and approach a girl and get the number, whatever. And that can work sometimes. You've got to have innate confidence to pull it off. So for most guys, I would just recommend keep doing it over and over again. And if you need an opener, go up, say hello to a girl, introduce yourself. Actually, no, go up to a girl. This is one that Tate says. So go up to a girl, tell her she's beautiful, ask her what her name is, If she asks you your name back, she's into you.
The CEO of Testosterone.
I'm here.
How did you get a title like that? Like, who appointed you the CEO? Did you have to pass a board of directors? You know, we did, we did.
We got it through the board of directors. No, there's a story behind that. I was, um, in Thailand. I met Hamza and we sparred together. We did our first sparring session together, Muay Thai. Yeah, we met in a gym a couple of times and I'd seen him on YouTube a little bit. I knew who he was, so I went and said hello. And then we ended up in the same Muay Thai gym, did a sparring session together, filmed it, and then he put it on his Instagram as the CEO of Testosterone. And then I took the name and I put it on YouTube and I just, I just ran with it. But after he posted that first video, I got like 3 or 4,000 Instagram followers in a night from his page. So people seem to like something about my persona. Yeah, straight from there. And that's what really got me into the YouTube, was that, that's how the name came about.
Yeah, Hamza's got like a super engaged following. Oh yeah, it's a cult. Cult leader Hamza.
Yeah, it's a cult.
Yeah, yeah. And so for anyone who doesn't know your real name—
yeah, my real name is Jack.
Not as good as CEO of Testosterone.
Goddamn, I actually had some advice to leave the CEO of Testosterone name, to just move to my own name.
Yeah, yeah, because you got a cool name, Jack Hopkins. Yeah, like, actually is a cool sounding name.
But I think I'll run with CEO of Testosterone for a little while.
Yeah, just, just keep it going. One of my best mates, Joe Delaney, so his username on Instagram, you know, he's huge on YouTube as well, but his username on Instagram is Shred Bundy, like after, you know, Shredded Ted Bundy. And everyone's like, yo, you do know that's like a serial killer, you know, maybe you'd get more brand deals or customers if you change it. And he's like, nah, it's— yeah, it's like he's staying with it.
Yeah, yeah, I want my cool name.
Yeah, but he's built like, you know, a cult following as well, like a super engaged audience. So I would say stick with it.
That's what it's all about. Yeah, it's, uh, building something that people really love of being a part of.
And I started actually watching your videos, I'd say 6 months ago. I found them on YouTube.
That's crazy.
Yeah, yeah. And they're like, so quite recently, you know. And I even like, when I was looking through your videos today and sorting by like most popular and stuff, your— some of your most viewed videos are only in the last like 3 to 6 months. Yeah. So like you've had probably a bit of a blow up year.
But I've only done it— I've only been on YouTube for 1 year.
What? Yeah. No way, are you serious?
Only started a year ago.
Oh, I'm an old man. I've been on it like 8 years.
You know, the start of June, the start of June.
Okay.
I'd had a channel before, it was called Limitless Podcast. Yeah, I started in COVID and I did about 10 episodes of this Limitless Podcast and then I let it, I let it go. When I moved to Thailand, met Hamza, that's when I started for real and did 150 days daily, daily videos.
No way! That's, that's what it's all about, you know, like when you're just uploading consistently, you build that bond with viewers.
Yeah.
And you get way better at it. Like, so I just did a podcast, not yesterday, the day before, with Max Tuning. And today— and that was the first one I'd done in like 2 weeks. And then now today I feel way better because I just did one. So it's like the more you do it, the fresher you are.
100%.
I want to go to the Thailand topic in a while. But first, I want to go back to what growing up for Jack Hopkins— what growing up was like for Jack Hopkins?
Growing up was fairly interesting because I, I started in the UK but then moved to the United States. Okay, I know that I was in the US for 2 years, um, it was 3 years actually, from 9 years old to 12 years old. And I got into acting.
What?
Yeah, I got into acting as a, like a, not, not a big child actor or anything, but I did quite a lot of commercials as the English kid in America.
Kind of looked like Macaulay Culkin.
Exactly, yeah, they like the blonde look and, and it worked well for me in America. I had an agent there and I, I landed jobs and stuff and started getting paid a little bit for commercials and things like that.
Yeah.
Um, so from, from that moment— I spoke about this with David yesterday— from that moment, uh, looking back, I— that was the most money I'd ever made, and I was like 9 years old. So I was getting like— it wasn't a lot of money, it was like $1,000 or $2,000 for a shoot. Um, but at that time it was crazy money to me, and that got me addicted. Yeah, that got me addicted to the feeling of like going in a trailer, having someone bring you donuts and sort of look out for you and stuff, being given this money, being treated like just a bit of a star. Even though it's a little commercial, to me it was like the biggest thing in the world.
Better than me at 9 years old, shiting me pants or whatever.
Yeah, exactly. I was doing the same thing, I was just doing it in the trailer.
Um, in style.
Yeah, I was doing it in style. But, um, after that I just, uh, I was a bit addicted to that feeling of like, oh, I really want more of this, I want to be I want that attention. Yeah. So a lot of my childhood, when I got back to the UK, I played a lot of sport. I did the normal stuff growing up, had good friends, played football. My dad was my football coach, uh, had a lot of fun playing football. My dad was my coach from 5 to 18 years old, and I ended up the captain of our team. That was amazing, playing football and having my dad as coach.
Yeah.
But when I got back, I had an agent in, in the UK, so I was doing auditions the whole way through school and the whole way when I was younger, and I got into a TV show uh, directed by Ron Howard. Yeah, yeah, called, uh, it was a Discovery Channel thing about Einstein. I was a Hitler Youth character. I was a, I was a Nazi.
Nice, great, the role you were born to play.
I was typecast as a Nazi, and, uh, and that's about all I did. And then I just got a lot of rejection, um, through that, through that industry. And it got to a point where I got to uni and I still had an agent, but I couldn't be bothered to go to my auditions anymore. I was tired of it. I was tired of people saying no. It didn't feel right to me anymore. And I went down a bit of a path of experimenting with drugs and alcohol in uni, as I think a lot of us do. Oh yeah. And, uh, went down some dark paths with that, came out the other side, went into a 9-to-5, worked in sales for a while, got into fighting, uh, which sort of brought me through the other side of drugs and alcohol. Got very much— I was always into my training, but just not into fighting. Fighting sorted me out. And then, and then the move to Thailand. That's basically my, my story summed up.
Nice. I just like what you said, you know, everyone, they go through that party mode and when in college. And so it was obviously fighting for you, but if it wasn't like bodybuilding in the gym, for me, learning about training and nutrition, I, my life would have been ruined. I can guarantee you that. I would have been a complete waster. I would have gone off the rails. But the feeling of being consistent and being on track with my training, nutrition, same for you and fighting outweighed the feeling, the high that I would get from going out and partying. So you need to find something that you value more that will keep you on track.
I agree. And I think for everyone it should be training first because it's something you have control over. That's the biggest thing. Whereas auditions and things, there's always this element of non-control. If I didn't get picked, it wasn't down to me. There was—
maybe you just didn't like it.
Yeah, they just didn't like me. I just wasn't— I just wasn't— this wasn't a Nazi role. I can have that role. With the training, you, you control it. You control control how you look and what you eat, and that gives you a great sense of pride. You start to build that up, and then you don't want to ruin your body.
Yeah, literally, I think— now I'm biased because I work in the fitness industry, but I just think, feel free to anyone listen disagree with me, that the foundation to success begins with training and looking after your body and your health. I think everything after that, once you actually master that, everything falls into place. Yeah, your confidence improves, Therefore, your business improves. You connect with more people. You network with more people. Everything, once you get on top of your training, nutrition, like people are like, oh, it's just going to the gym. No, no, you don't get it. No, it fixes everything.
It does.
It really does. But so Darren told me, I think when you were in sales, you had a little funny story. You got fired from sales. What's the story behind that?
I did get fired from a sales job. I don't know if I told this one on the pod.
Was it the real estate one?
I'm not, yeah, it was the real estate one. I told this to Darren. I don't even know if I'm allowed to tell this story. I'll tell it.
Okay, nice, nice. Don't worry, fuck it, you're in the same space.
So yeah, I got into, uh, I just, uh, basically when I was at uni, I got into down the path of to support my, my own drug habit. I was selling a little bit of drugs on the side. Yeah, so I was still doing that a bit, but I wanted to get out of it, um, because I just knew it was never going anywhere good, and that wasn't what was sort of planned for me. I just knew I was going to get myself in trouble at some point, as you do if you do stuff like that.
Yeah.
So I was trying to get out of it, but I was still kind of in it at the same time. So I got a job as an estate agent, and, uh, oh man, don't listen, the story is satire. It's a satire comedy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But anyway, we're acting, we're acting right now. This is a character. So I got this job as an estate agent, and, uh, At the same time, I was still dealing. So I was in the car with this girl. There's this girl that was teaching me how to be an estate agent and do these rentals. So she was taking me around the car and she was pretty hot in that.
Okay, they always are, the estate agents.
Yeah, she was, she was pretty hot and I was trying to show off a little bit. She was a bit older than me and she sort of started asking me questions in the car like, oh, do you do drugs? You party a bit? And stuff like that. And me, just like total retard, I was just like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, if you needed drugs, just come straight to to me. Anything, anything you need, anything you need, I've got it. If you want to party, I'm your man, I'm your man. And, uh, and I didn't think anything of it. And then, and then later that day I got into the office, and I was doing all right at this one. I've been there for a few days, but I'd done all right. I was, I was coming along. I was going to be quite a good estate agent, I think.
Yeah, better than—
as soon as I got back, I got, I got called into the, to the office with this guy with my, with my boss, and he sat me down and he was like, so you're a drug dealer, are you?
No, you're joking me! And you're like, I guess.
Do you want some too? And then, and I was so put on the spot, I was like, well, I'm trying not to be anymore. Yeah, yeah. He's like, Jack, you're doing student rentals. You realize we definitely can't, can't have you working here if that's what you're currently doing.
Bro, I'm dying. That, that is an amazing story. And so did you stay at that job?
No, no, fired me on the spot. Oh my God, he fired me on the spot. I was really bummed out about it at the time, but I ended up going into a different sales job selling phone systems, which I stayed in for a while and I worked my way up at. Sorted me out. And, and after that, I did actually— after I got fired from that job, I, I just quit straight away. I kicked everything. Yeah, because I was a I was a bit pissed at myself for ruining something.
Yeah, yeah. I've been fired from a few jobs before, and as much as we like to say, oh, I don't care, yeah, it's actually a really like rejecting feeling. And like, especially what age were you at that stage?
Like, I was 21.
Yeah, exactly. So when you— I was like, you know, about that age when I got fired from a string of jobs as well. I was really lost and lazy in life. And yeah, it's a bad feeling. Like, you feel like a dumbass.
Yeah, it's a shit job anyway.
It's a shit job. Apologies, Danny. But like, it's a It's a job you don't like that you don't want to be doing, and you— I still can't hold it down.
Yeah, yeah.
So it's a, it's a bad feeling. And so what advice would you give to your 20-year-old self? What age are you now, actually?
Um, 24.
Okay, nice, nice. So what would you give your advice to 5 years ago, yourself 5 years ago?
5 years ago to myself, it's always a tough question for me because there's very little I want to change because how much wisdom you gain by doing bad things or messing up and learning from it.
For sure.
So I really wouldn't be the same if I, if I hadn't done the stuff. I would just say, and I would go back to myself and say, look, it's all going to be all right in the end. Stick to your heart, follow your heart and what you want to do. You know what's good. I know what's right and wrong, and I've realized that as I get older. I know when I'm doing something right and I know when I'm doing something wrong. So I just say to myself, listen to yourself. When you know you're doing something wrong, stop it and start doing the right things.
Nice.
Um, but I wouldn't want to change too much about my past because it's what gives you your stories.
Yeah, exactly. And, um, I'm not sure if you have looked too into The Butterfly Effect. There's a, you know, there's a movie with Ashton Kutcher?
I've never heard about the butterfly effect.
Okay, so basically it's like a butterfly, something as small as a butterfly flapping its wings on the other side of the world could trigger off a series of events that affects, you know, has a ripple effect and it affects so many different things. And so if you did something slightly different, like really the smallest thing different, your life could go off on a completely different trajectory. So when people are like, oh, I would change this, I would look back on this, no, you gotta think of the butterfly effect. If you did anything even slightly different, you wouldn't be where you are today.
Exactly.
So that, that's one that I often—
I might be an estate agent.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. I hate not estate agents. I just think it's a cool job. I got mad into property in the last year. I got really interested in it. So that's—
if you're a good one, if you were selling the good houses. Yeah, yeah. I was in Bournemouth, I was like, not much going on there.
Young Marbella, they're living the dream. Yeah, they're honestly like just like partying every night, selling villas, and meeting cool people. Property is big game here. But so I'd say my advice, if I was to talk to my 20-year-old self, same as that. You know, you don't want to, you don't want to not have any regrets or mistakes, but I would say to not be afraid of taking the road less traveled. So I remember when I was in college— well, I failed college, I dropped out— but for the brief period I was in, I thought this was the only way. I thought, I was like, this is what we got to do, you know, we got to finish school, we go to college, we get put in a job that we don't want to do, and then that's it. You have the wife that you hate, shithead kids, and that's it. Yeah, maybe you go on holiday, you get 10 days off a year, yeah, and then that's it. And at the time I was like, I want to do something to do with fitness. How do I do something where I can impact as many people around the world as possible and also do it on my own time as well? And YouTube fitness was like only in America. And so when I started doing it in Ireland, everyone was like, what, who the fuck does this guy think he is doing bicep curls on the internet? Fucking Billy Big Biceps over here. And so that's what my advice would be to my young self is trust the process, you know, which I did. And, you know, don't be afraid to take the non-conventional route. You don't have to do the thing that you've been brainwashed into doing. Yeah, so that's, that's the advice I give. And how would you say your mindset has changed over the last couple of years?
But my mindset in the last year has been exploded. My mind's been exploded because I've really seen what is possible for somebody to do if they follow that path less traveled. Because I remember working in sales jobs and trying my absolute best, like really trying hard and getting dialed in and selling stuff and making like maximum 4 or 5 grand in a month.
Yeah.
And, and thinking like, I'm fucking working as hard as I can, there's nothing more I could be doing to make more money. And I just thought like, it must take so long to get rich or make a decent amount of money. And then when you do something for yourself, when you take that risk, it just comes with all of that reward. And you don't realize how easy and like something can be when you're on the right path taking that risk, which is a crazy thing for me to see after thinking, oh, sales is the, is the only way for me in this certain job. Certain sales jobs, you can make a lot, a lot of money, but you've got to find the right vehicle.
Yeah.
So I'd say to somebody that's kind of stuck around that 3, 4 grand mark, you need to find a better vehicle or do your own thing because that's where the real money, the real life is at.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And so what did you learn from working in that sales job? Because I want to go into a little bit what you're doing now, your main source of income. But just while we're on the topic of sales, what are your 3 best tips when it comes to selling a product?
Selling a product, you have to believe in it.
Yeah.
And when this started for me, I had to trick myself into believing in products when I was, when I was selling phone systems, because it's a fucking phone system. So if you, if you're selling a, if you're selling a phone system that to a business that you don't really give a shit about, you have to try and make yourself believe in it. So believing in your product is huge, and a customer can, can feel that straight away. Yeah. And you've got to understand people. You've got to be able to talk to them. People buy from, from people they like, but also people that they respect. So it's not necessarily— you don't have to be the nicest guy, you don't have to bullshit around like building rapport, you don't have to talk to somebody like, oh, how's the, how's the weather down there, what are you doing this weekend kind of thing. No one really gives a shit. But if you're sharp, if you, if you sound like a sharp guy, you know what you're talking about, you're enthusiastic about your product, you give yourself a very good chance of selling something. And then the other thing is questions. Sales is all questions. So you ask questions to figure out what somebody really wants. Because if I'm sitting down here with you and let's say we're selling a car and I go straight into selling you a Range Rover, but you're looking for a Ferrari, I can try and sell you the Range all day long. But all I really needed to do was ask you some questions about what you're looking for. Yeah. And I could have sold you the Ferrari. But maybe some customers, they won't correct you. They'll just get pissed off and they'll leave. So you have to make sure you know what you're selling before you, before you sell it. So all sales is basically questions. Figuring out your customer, building a bit of rapport, and then asking for the deal.
That's awesome. Yeah, nice. Geez, that was like perfectly said and smashed.
I've done it for a while. So I've got into sales when I was 16.
Yeah.
And I still sell now, obviously. It's part of the game. I said life is sales in my opinion, and my dad is a salesman.
Okay, now are you and your father still close? Because you mentioned them with football and this as well.
Yeah, me and my dad's still close. Just got him a I just bought him an Omega Seamaster, the one from the Casino Royale Bond film.
Nice.
Something I've always noticed about my dad, but my dad's always given us everything we've ever wanted growing up, and he's got a great house and he's done really well for himself. And but I've always noticed my dad's never had a watch. Yeah, like he's never wore a nice, nice watch or anything. So I've always wanted to sort that out. It's been on the list of things to do for a while. And I was in Dubai airport and I got the Omega and gave it to him. That was, that was pretty awesome.
Oh man, what was his reaction like?
Oh, he loves it. He loves it. He's just wearing it nonstop. Stop now.
Yeah, that, that's amazing. I remember like, so growing up, my dad was, uh, in the army. He was like extremely high ranking, um, you know, he played at GA— it's an Irish sport— for his county Sligo. He was like an amazing athlete. And so we were very close growing up. And then around like when I was about 10, 11, 12, my parents separated and he kind of just, you know, walked out, went out and did his own thing from really important years for me, like between kind of like like 12 to 20. Then, you know, we kind of re— reignited— reunited a little bit.
Yeah.
But only recently, that is, that we really started kicking things off again and becoming best mates.
And that's—
it's just such a good feeling. And one of the highlights of my year was like, so when I finished this villa, I had it built, I, I flew him out, and we just— just me and him, you know. I, I sent my girlfriend back for the weekend. She went, she went off, and I just— me and him had just an amazing weekend together, just father and son catching up, and it was one of the proudest moments of just, you know, my dad seeing this place.
Oh, that's awesome.
Yeah, so that's awesome, man. I'm delighted to hear about the watch.
Yeah.
And so let's go into your business. Okay, you got CEO.
I'm the CEO.
So tell me what exactly it is you do and what are your source of income?
I have two arms to my business. So the, the main business that I run now is called The New Elite, and it's a network for entrepreneurs, guys like us that are into their fitness, they're into their, their health, their mindset. They want to make money online, they want to travel the world, they want to do cool things, they want to live that road less traveled with other guys because it's so good to have brotherhood. So yeah, we put together this network of entrepreneurs, we meet up around the world, we've got chat rooms talking about various different things— crypto, money, uh, business, all that stuff, all the good stuff. I've got all my courses in there as well. And then, and then we do a lot of meetups. So guys meeting up, getting together, cigar dinners. Uh, we do masterminds as well around the world. And it's basically a network for guys. Let's say you're listening to this now and you're making 10 grand a month, you've started your business but you feel alone, your friends are not on the same path.
Yeah.
And you want guys you can share your stories with, guys that are doing 100, 200 grand a month that you can talk to and get advice from. And I just find that that accelerates people's progress so quickly. Yeah. So we do that, um, but that's our our main business is that membership for that, and we're just growing that out, building different arms to it. We're going to have locations as well, so actual clubs like clubhouses.
Go on, Marbella, mate!
I'd love to, I'd absolutely love to. Marbella is amazing, my first time here, awesome place. Can imagine myself coming here. But we're building out that, so building a team at the moment. We promote leadership inside of the, inside of the group, so we've got leaders in different countries putting events on. A load of lads just got back from Croatia, they went and did some mountain hiking, and then we did an event in London a couple of weeks back. And then the other arm of my business is for guys that are not making 10 grand a month yet.
Yeah.
Or not really making any money online yet, and they want to get into sales. So we teach them— it's a 3-stage course, it's called the 10K Accelerator. Start is mindset and body, so all my training programs, how I got my mind right, bang, just sort that out, shattering limits. Yeah. Getting it, getting your head straight, because without that you can't do anything. Yeah, get your head straight, sort yourself out. Number 2, we've got a sales professor in there, a guy called Connor who's done 7 figures selling other people's offers online. So he teaches how to get into online sales so you can sell from anywhere in the world, like through Zoom calls. And we've got a full course on that— where to find the jobs, how to become good at sales. And then the third part is for guys that maybe they've found a job working for someone else, they're making 10 grand a month but they want to do their own offer. I did a personal branding section on, on the end of it on how I built my YouTube, my personal brand, and my offers. Okay, so if they want to do their own stuff, they can. And that's the two businesses we have. So we have the courses there for guys sort of under, under $10 grand a month, ideally $10,000 a month would go into the 10K Accelerator. Guys over $10K a month would go New Elite and Network, and that's where they get their value from.
Very nice. And so look, 90% of courses that I see out there, a lot of them are BS, all right? So, the funniest thing is it's guys claiming to be an expert on a topic and they make money off that topic, but the only thing they're actually making money off is the course they're selling about the topic. It's so funny. They're not actually good at that. So, how do we know your course is legit?
Well, my course is run by a guy, so I totally agree with you. And to be transparent, I make my money from my courses. Yeah, yeah. Before this I made— I did sales, but I didn't make a huge amount of my money from it.
Yeah.
Um, so my money has come from online business and courses.
Yes, but that's what it's about. So it's okay, I'm talking about crypto guys who've never made any money in crypto and they're selling courses about crypto.
Yes.
Yeah, yeah, that's something.
Yeah, I knew that I— although I've done sales for a long time, I've not worked enough online sales jobs and I've not done the money that I wanted to do. So we hired a guy specifically to put inside there. He runs a Discord, he does a weekly call with everyone. He built out half the course, I built out the other half of the course. Um, in terms of the, the mindset and the fitness stuff, like, I've done that. Oh yeah, I've got receipts on that.
Yeah, for sure.
And I got receipts on the personal branding as well.
Yeah.
Um, so it's only that bit in the middle, and then the rest is a network. So you just have to trust that the network is good. Yeah. And, uh, we've got testimonials and things, and we seriously change people's lives. Like, I could show you some testimonials.
That's awesome.
Fucking change people's lives. Okay.
Yeah, I've even actually seen Carmen— I think one of the best ways to look out for if something's legit or not is of course reviews and testimonials.
Yeah.
But even like, I've seen your comments on YouTube and everything, and they're awesome, you know. You can just tell that you're doing a great job. So yeah, fair play on that.
Awesome.
And then so when it comes to— I know it's a buzzword recently, but it summarizes it well— escaping the matrix, living off the grid, you know, you're in Thailand, you're in Phuket here. What are some of the first steps you need to make to live a life of freedom?
You've got to get control of your, of your income. That's the first thing. So if you can build out an offer and have access to your own Stripe and making your own money coming into your bank and not relying on someone to pay you, that's very, very good.
Yeah.
Um, I would say if you can't do that, just having a reliable— someone reliable to pay you in online sales, for example, that you know that money's coming in. Yeah. And then you need to take yourself out of banking in one country. So many people are banked in one country, which is fucking awful. Yeah, like you didn't realize how unstable that whole system is. Yeah, so you need to get yourself— I would recommend if you're making over 10 grand a month or maybe 20 grand a month and you're not currently banking out of Dubai, that you should— that, that could be a real good move for you if you're not interested in living in the UK for more than 90 days a year. Go bank in Dubai. Also, there's many countries around the world that you can go to and you can pay a certain amount of money to open bank accounts.
Yeah.
So you go and open—
what are some good ones of them?
Thailand's pretty good.
Yeah, I've actually heard that.
Yeah, Thailand's pretty good for banking. You can go there, uh, get the right— get the right visas, do it the right way, open a bank account. Um, Thailand's amazing place to live. You can split your time between Thailand and Dubai. That's what I do.
Nice.
So you can bank in both places. Um, you can keep your home banks as well, your home credit cards.
Yeah, keep it a little bit—
keep a little bit there, keep a little bit there.
Yeah.
And then, yeah, a couple other— there's a couple other places These are the only places I bank at the moment, so yeah, I can't tell you much about, about anymore, but I'm planning.
Yeah, yeah, I know what you mean. Yeah. And so how did you end up in Thailand of all places? Thailand, that came from the movie The Beach, and absolutely one of my favorite movies ever. So I'll actually tell you this, right? Do you know in Phi Phi Island? So I kind of don't know. Yeah, yeah, exactly where it's filmed.
Yeah.
So I was there at the time, right? And I was with like a group of friends from school. I was very young, I was maybe 19, 20. Do you know, I think it's called the Banana Bar. It's like an upstairs bar. I don't know if you can see.
I've never been there yet. Oh, you've never been to Marbella?
Oh, what? Oh no, but you know Phi Phi Island?
I've not been to Phi Phi.
Oh wait, that's amazing, right? I don't know if it's Phi Phi or Phi Phi. Phi Phi sounds kind of gross, but right. So there's this bar and it's called the Banana Bar and you have to climb up the winding stairs to get to it and it's like on a rooftop. It overlooks the whole town and you can buy like weed over the counter. I'm not I'm not big into weed at the time.
Me neither.
Yeah, I think we'll go into that. I think it rots the brain. But anyways, at the time, I would pro-legalize it, you know. I don't think it's worse. I think alcohol's worse, but I'm not into it myself. Anyways, so you go up, everyone's, you know, smoking. It's a nice atmosphere. You can get really nice food, burritos. There's hammocks everywhere, and they have a huge projector. And they— I remember I went up there, and so that— and they were playing The Beach, and that's the first time I ever watched that movie. Really?
In that setting.
Oh my God. So it was like you could see my Bay from the roof.
Oh my.
So I fell in, you know, I was with all my friends, we're having a few beers watching the beach.
You're basically living.
Exactly. And we were like, I was broke, you know, and we were like, I was wearing like the worst clothes. Yeah. And it was like, I'll never forget, that's the first time I watched it. So I fell in love with that movie. So little side story, but go on.
Amazing. Yeah, so I had the same experience but just from my bedroom when I was 14 years old. I'm watching that in my bedroom thinking What am I stuck here doing this? And I was only 14 at the time, so there's not much I could do about it. But it remained in my mind, and I started training Muay Thai because it was a part of MMA. Yeah. And a great Muay Thai instructor— I started looking online, these Muay Thai camps, and I was just fascinated. I made a dream board. I had a girlfriend at the time, long-term girlfriend. We had an apartment together. I made— I had an office in there. I made a dream board in my apartment, had all these trees on it and different villas in Thailand and Muay Thai camps and stuff. I remember my girlfriend coming in, "What's that?" "It's my dream board." Planning your great escape. It's for the future. It's for far in the future.
She's like, "Where am I on the dream board?" "I don't want to do that." "It's not your dream, bitch." "It's my dream board." "What's that fighting thing on there?" she was all right, to be fair.
She's not a bad girl.
She's not a bad girl.
But anyway, I had this dream board and then, and then it just got more and more real for me. And I started saving money at the same time whilst I was working sales. I had always had a bit of money going away into a pot and I got to about 10 grand and I was like, wow, I could genuinely move there now. Yeah. If I just give everything up, I could just go. And then I, and then I did. I just, one day I got home and I broke up my girlfriend, which was sad at the time because there wasn't anything particularly wrong.
Yeah.
But I just knew I had to go and do, do more with my life. And I went and quit my job. That was amazing. Oh, that was the best feeling.
Enough fired, you quit this time.
Good job. I said, guys, I'm off. But they were lovely about it as well. They weren't bad people at all. They were really, really happy for me.
Yeah, I actually had the same experience. So I've been fired from a load of jobs, but the, the last one, or one of them, it was kind of, you know, because I was working two jobs at a time, it's kind of muddled. But there was one job that, that I quit, and it was like a, you know, 9 to 6 office job. And the owner of the company, you know, I was really young, I was like 22. The owner of the company was like, yeah, well, you're not doing much around here anyway, so yeah, go do your thing.
At least we don't have to fire you.
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, but yeah, they were cool about it. And then so you just moved to Thailand? Which part?
I moved straight— so I had to— it was, it was around COVID time, so I had to jump through a few hoops. I had to do a quarantine in Bangkok. Oh man, did a quarantine in Bangkok, met these two French twins downstairs. Unfortunately, they weren't female.
Okay, I was about to say, like, French twins, that sounds pretty hot.
Yeah, yeah. Um, they weren't, they weren't female, but they were really nice guys. And, uh, we traveled together for a bit. So we went straight to Koh Samui, we did the New Year there. Yeah, which was open actually, they'd opened up for New Year. So we did a party there, and that was my first look into the Thailand experience. I remember pulling the hot— one of the hottest girls I'd ever been with on my first night in Thailand. No, I'm just having a crazy night, mate.
Yeah.
And then, uh, so I was like, wow, this— I fucking love this place.
Yeah.
And then We went to Phuket, spent a bit of time there, traveled around together, did, uh, Pangang. We're hanging out. I was partying a little bit at this point. I was still doing— I was doing online fitness coaching. Yes, through my Instagram to make money. And, um, got to a point where they had to go, they finished their vacation, and, uh, and I settled down in Koh Samui to get some work done. And I just started training hard, started working hard, and ended up on the YouTube. And then it's all gone from there. And now I'm— now I'm Bangkok-based. Okay, flying back to Bangkok. Just got a penthouse in, in Bangkok, which I'm super excited.
You bought one?
No, no, not yet.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because that's a ballsy one.
That's a—
like, that, that could be like— that could go any way, you know.
You can buy condos there fairly easily now in Thailand. There's a few— there's some good legislation coming through in Thailand for, um, buying places.
Yeah.
So you can actually buy them without having to have a Thai partner.
Oh yes, some of that—
for some of the rules have changed.
There's like rules, but yeah, there's like rules in Bali where it's like you never actually own the property. It's like something— unless you're Indonesian, there's some weird shit like that, you know.
Yes, yes.
So yeah, so you got a nice— you got a nice penthouse.
I've got a nice penthouse that's rented for a year now, so I'm looking forward to that. A few— me and some great friends I made through New Elite are moving there together.
Sick.
And, uh, not living in the same place, but all in the same building.
Okay.
Yeah, so we're just gonna run riot. We're gonna work all day. We're just gonna— we've got the gym downstairs, we've squashed downstairs, got sauna, pool, everything. It's going to be amazing. So I can't— I cannot wait.
So wait, wait, so it's in Bangkok. Would you not like think of basing yourself on the islands, or is that just too unproductive?
I was there for a year and a half, and I've had villa on the islands, and I've, I've done that. I've had the, the— my sort of dream villa that I had on my dream board. Yeah, I've had that. I've had that for, for 6 months. And the truck and the motorbike, I've had, I've had all of that. And, um, yeah, just think it's slightly too unproductive on the islands. I've still got a place there. I've got I've got a 2-bed, um, that's got a pool, um, that I can go back to.
Okay.
Yeah, so it's an hour flight. Yeah. So a lot of our boys are there, so we'll fly there on the weekends or every other weekend to get the island vibe.
Yeah.
But Bangkok is so much fun. Yeah, you spent much time.
Oh, I've spent loads of time. Yeah, I did like 2 or 3— 2 months just going around Thailand. This is before YouTube or anything, before I was doing any of that. But yeah, so I know I've been to everywhere, so I know what every island's like in Bangkok. But I haven't done it with any money. So yeah, that's the key. I was like a broke backpacking student.
It's a different world.
Yeah, I was like borrowing money off my friends, like, oh, I need another week and all that, and like eating street food. I'm sure you can like eat in the Nobu-esque type of places.
Yeah, especially in Bangkok. So that was kind of the other reason for Bangkok. Like Samui, you can't spend money. No, you can't spend more than 10 grand. It's impossible. Yeah, yeah, there's no shopping. There's no shops. There's nothing there. Yeah. There is one more, but there's nothing really.
I know them all. Yeah, so actually I went back, I went back in recent years with Joe Delaney, my friend Joey D. And you know, that's when we did both have, you know, decent YouTube channels and a bit of cash and stuff. And we went to that mall, I know the one you're talking about, and we ordered like, it was honestly like a pound of sashimi. Yeah, like loads of sushi, everything. Every day after the gym we would just order that and it was like €10 if anything. We were eating like kings. Oh yeah, it's nuts.
It's amazing.
It's a great place to go if you actually want to just like train hard, you know, get some sun. You can obviously go on the piss, but you know, and eat like a king.
It's a beautiful life. It is a really beautiful life. We had a great time there.
Yeah.
And I, I love going back. I get a great feeling going back because that's where everything started for me. A year and a half there to change my life.
Yeah.
So when I go back and I spend a bit of time there, it's amazing. But Bangkok, if you want to do especially if you're in business. And I have to go to Dubai for— obviously having my business set up in Dubai. Yeah, so it's very easy to get there. Yeah, there's direct flight. Yeah, great, great flight path. And, uh, yeah, so Bangkok's the place for me now. You can do everything you want to do. Perfect.
And tell me, right, so you mentioned, uh, French twins, they're unfortunately male, but yeah, you said you did get with a fit bird on your first night.
Yeah.
What's the dating scene like in Bangkok or in Thailand in general?
I think the dating scene is, is really good. Yeah, girls are so kind.
Yeah.
And, uh, it's very— yeah, it's very easy for a Western guy. Yeah, it's really easy. But that being said, you have to be very, very careful. You have to know your way around women and, and the frame— frame in relationships, because if it's easy for you, it's easy for everyone else.
Yeah.
So you still got to look in the right places, you've got to find the right kind of girls. I think you can find girls a lot easier, but some of the girls are— maybe they just want some money from you, but it'll never be obvious like it is in Dubai. Like, Dubai is one of the worst dating scenes in my opinion. Like, totally awful, bro.
It's wild. What have you— have you had any experiences from dating in Dubai?
Um, I've definitely got some experiences from Dubai.
So what are some red flags to look out for when dating in Dubai? I'll go first, right?
You go first.
Me if she's got in her, in her bio, if it says London, Dubai. Yeah, get out of there, get out of there. And, and then so you look at the pictures, right? Private jets, yachts, you know, Dior, Fendi, shopping, everything. And then it's like, it says something like she didn't have a job. And I'm like, the man— nurse, hairdresser, she must be the fucking CEO of L'Oréal or some shit, but it's like the math ain't mathing. So that's the first thing I would look out for.
Yeah, 100%. Um, I wouldn't date in Dubai at all. Do not do it to yourself. Yeah, do not do it. I think if you're in Dubai and you've got girls from maybe back home that you want to fly out and see there, that's often what guys do. Um, girls back home, because you've, you've like a British girl that's, that's grown up in the countryside or whatever and gone to normal school is such a different girl to these girls in Dubai. Like, she, she will appreciate things so much more.
Yeah.
And same with Thai girls as well. Like, if you get a Thai girl, she's from Chiang Mai or something, like a small, a small village, and she's never really had anything at all, and then you want to show her this kind of life, I think that's amazing. I think that's a great thing to do. Much better than showing it to these girls that have had it already, like princess.
Yeah, actually royalty.
They don't value it anymore. You see in their eyes, they, they, they expect dinners. You go spend, drop a grand on a dinner. I dropped a grand on a dinner with me and a buddy, a couple of his girlfriends, yeah, two, and, uh, and a girl I was with. And, uh, they didn't even notice it. Yeah, they're just, it's just a given. There's no, there's not even a phase of thinking. This is standard. Like, it would have to be something amazing. And my girl was in my ear, like, not my girl, but the girl I was with was in my ear on this date, like, would you ever buy me stuff, like, show me stuff to buy? And I was like, you fucking nuts.
They just like, they just expect it. Like, They're just on their phone constantly scrolling.
She was like, she, she was, she was pretty hot. So she was like, if we were going to be together, would you, would you be willing to buy me this?
Did she give that?
And I was like, I was like, what, what are you talking about? It's the second time we've seen each other. That is why we're going to be together. Like, your, your personality is dreadful. You're so annoying.
So do you spend more time in Dubai or Thailand?
Oh, more time in Thailand. Yeah, I am really warming to Dubai. I didn't like it at first, but if you've— I found a great group of guys in, in Dubai that we've hung out with, we ended up networking with. Um, shout out Wakar and, and your friends. Wakar, yeah, we went on his pod. He's doing a new podcast. Um, but we found some guys that have— it's amazing for networking with guys. Oh yeah, but you find some real heavy hitters, especially in the fit—
even the fitness scene, like everyone's there. I'm going out there December, January, February. So I'll be out there for, for a good few months.
Yeah.
And need to just get a play. Where do you stay in Dubai?
Actually, I, I actually stay at the Park Hyatt, um, right next to the airport a lot of the time.
Really?
Yeah, that, that's really good if you just want to go there and chill. That hotel's incredible. Yeah, really, really good service, amazing place to stay. A little bit far off the marina. Yeah, um, but that's amazing for just chilling. For— I wake up early there, wake up about 5 in the morning there, go to bed 8 o'clock, sauna just get my head straight and work because it's close to the bank I need to go to as well. Okay, that's why I stay there.
Nice.
Um, but otherwise we go to the marina. We normally stay at the EMAAR, uh, EMAAR building on the— you know where the marina is? You've got the W Hotel.
Yep.
And you've got that little sort of jetty that comes out. Yes, there's new builds on there. One of the EMAAR buildings on there, I think that's right, EMAAR. Yeah, um, one of those new builds is on Airbnb. They're really good to stay at as well. Yeah, I think you had a guy on your um, who lives in Dubai.
Um, let me see who—
I want to say James.
Oh yeah, James Blackwell. Yeah, yeah, he's actually out here next week. He's out here for the month. But yeah, he lives in—
he's in like a similar area.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. I love Rixos on JBR. It's like one of the best hotels I've ever stayed there. Stayed there a good few times. But I like JBR because I like walking, okay? I go for like a daily walk, like an hour's walk every single day. Just walk around the neighborhood, like Like, it's like how I de-stress is walk, get my steps in. And Dubai is motorways. Yeah, you know, so there's not many places you can walk. So it's like, I am— I love like staying in JBR. It's just a nice pedestrian area. But that's the only thing I would not like about Dubai is that it's, it's a little bit concrete. Yeah, I still always have a good time when I move out there. And I think I'm gonna do at least 3 months there. But so now I was looking at some of your YouTube videos, okay? And some of your most viewed videos are about cold approach.
Yeah.
Okay, right. So Tell me, tell the people. I know what it is. Okay, right, tell the people what is cold approach and what's your advice for going about it.
All right, yeah, cold approach is when you approach— you see a girl that you like and you approach her in the street to get her number or introduce yourself to her.
Okay.
And cold approach is actually ridiculously easy. Like, you don't need a special trick, you just need to be confident in yourself. So cold approach— there's a video I have says what to do before you cold approach. And cold approach, before you do that, just become the man that is confident in himself. So when you've gone gym, you've stacked a bit of cash, you're feeling good, you will not find it hard to approach women anymore. When you're looking good and you feel good in your skin, you dress well. But a lot of guys, they want a trick so they can be a bum and go and approach a girl and get the number or whatever. And that can work sometimes. You've got to have innate confidence to pull it off. So for most guys, I would just recommend keep doing it over and over again. And if you need an opener go up, say hello to a girl, introduce yourself. Actually, no, go up to a girl. This is one that Tate says. So go up to a girl, tell her she's beautiful, ask her what her name is. If she asks you your name back, she's into you.
Okay.
But if she doesn't, she just says— if you say, oh, excuse me, let me stop you, just needed to say that you're really beautiful, um, what's your name? And then she tells you and then you wait a second, and then if she says, what's your name, in return, if she asks you, oh, what's your name, then, then you know you're on.
Then it's on.
Then you know you're on. If she just says, oh, thank you, yeah, yeah, thanks, thanks, then it's my name, then, then, then, then it's not for you. But the good thing is with that, you're never going to get anyone sort of horribly decline you in that situation. And even if they do, it doesn't—
it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter at all.
Yeah.
Um, so cold approach is just about really going up to girls, being ballsy, just, just doing what you need to do, just going and saying they're beautiful, or just going, introducing yourself, asking them a random question, getting into a conversation that way. I like to do it actually more naturally. So if I'm in a shop and I see a girl I like, I have a thing in my head. If I see a beautiful girl, I always speak to her, and I don't think about it, I just speak to her. Because the more you do that, the better you become at doing this, and the more girls you see. Yeah, the more chance you have. If you— every beautiful girl you see, instantly in your head you think, oh, probably got a boyfriend, probably turn me down, you never speak to them, it's never going to happen for you. But you'd be surprised how many times I've gone and spoken to someone I thought was a 10 and would definitely have a boyfriend, and they've been pleased to speak to me. Yeah, I'll give you an example.
Go on.
So, uh, I, I was in Dubai actually, and I was— I spent the day at— what's that beach club, Bistro? Yeah, Baristi.
Barista Beach or something.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, I was there with a girl in the day. Me and my friend Dario were there with a couple of girls, and it was all going very well. Had a few drinks together, everyone's getting on well. So I was like, all right, I'm gonna, I'm gonna be the big man here, I'm gonna book the W, a suite at the W. Nice. It's like £800 for a night. So I booked it, bang, done. All right, just around the corner, let's go. So we go, we go to this, uh, to the W Hotel. They won't let me in, they won't let me or her in because we didn't have our passports.
What?
We have pictures but we didn't have the physical. Okay.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
And they're a bit strict on it there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh Yeah, that's true.
So anyway, that happens. I was already a little bit drunk this time, so I wasn't as cool about it as I should have been.
Never goes down well.
And the girl, she's obviously not found it cool at all that I've gotten pissed off, so she's just dipped. She's like, oh, I'm going home, like, I'm— I'll see you some other time.
Yep.
And I'm like, fuck, I've just spent £800 on this hotel room. Never, never do that, guys. Like, never, never be relying on a girl to come back because you spent money, because you give off off the wrong vibe.
I've actually— I've had a disaster with that and booked a whole weekend in Marbella like years ago.
Yeah, never do it. Never ever.
She was like, I thought we were friends.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So that happened.
I was pissed. I went home, I went to the apartment me and Dario in. I was like, mate, I'm pissed off, I've lost my girl. He said, what's happened? And I was like, oh yeah, they wouldn't let us in, she's gone home now. I've got my passport, checked in, and, uh, went up to the bar and there's 10 out of 10 Russian girls sitting on her own. And I was angry, so I just walked by, said, who, who are you here with? And just shouted at her. And, uh, she's like, oh no, no one. And I was like, can I sit there? And she's like, yeah, come sit with me. I was like, all right, drinks, waiter, bring some drinks. Started drinking, started drinking, started drinking with her at the hotel. And, and normally you walk in, you just wouldn't speak to her, you would— she was too hot, you wouldn't speak to her. I was, I was I was feeling loose, I was feeling a bit angry anyway, so I just went for it and it paid off.
Yeah, absolutely. And you know what, um, oftentimes when there's a super hot girl, smoking hot girl, no one's talking to her.
Yeah.
So like, that's the advantage that you have. Yeah. By just going up and spitting some game, you've got none to lose. And 99% of dudes in that room, especially if she's just sitting there on her own, they're not talking to her anyways.
Go for the 10s, boys.
Yeah, yeah, just go straight to the top.
Come on. I love that guy.
I love that guy. He's always in Marbella. All his videos are in Marbella. I've never met him, I just seen him on TikTok.
He's a legend.
Yeah, he's a legend. We need to get him on the pod.
Yeah, get him on.
And so how did you get into the kind of like dating scene as well? Like, was there a bad breakup that kind of made you learn about openers, cold approach, and game in general?
I've always been into it, like since I was really young. Yeah. Like ever since I started having girlfriends at school and stuff, and I was like 10.
Yeah, yeah, nice.
I was always into girls. Like, I've always loved that stuff. So I've had a fair few different girlfriends and a lot of relationships with girls, short ones, long ones, whatever. Um, and then I just realized that often the way to get attention— a lot of guys, that's what they want. A lot of the reasons we do anything that we do is because we want—
oh, it's all women who spur on the world.
Yeah, exactly.
Men wouldn't invade countries or start businesses. If it wasn't to get the girl.
We want hot girlfriends.
We wouldn't even go to the gym.
No, exactly. So I realized if that's why we're doing everything, I might as well do some videos on it because that's probably what's going to relate with a lot of guys. That's what they want to learn about.
Yeah.
So for me, I've always been into it, mate. I've been doing this forever.
Yeah. And where did you first look to learn about it? I know where I, I first, first kind of fell into that, like But is it— did you just like, did you read a book or watch some videos?
What did I read? I read The Rational Male.
Oh yeah, Rollo Tomasi. Yeah, that's awesome. That's, that's one of the best. Yeah, it's, it's a pretty savage one. Yeah, another really good one, um, it's like— I don't know the name of the book, it's by Richard Cooper, you know, um, uh, Alpha 20 Red Flags or The Rational Male.
No, no, something Alpha, Alpha something. Yeah, I know the book.
Yeah, yeah, he's awesome.
He's a great— that's a great book. Yeah, Richard Cooper's really cool. Yeah, I had a mentor people, you know, like, uh, not, not paid for or anything. Yeah, just a friend, a friend, much older friend who I met. I met online actually through an entrepreneur group when I was first getting, uh, before I went out to Thailand and I'd quit my job and left my girlfriend. Uh, I ended up speaking to this guy David in the States, Big G. Nice. Big G David, humongous beard. And, and we just started chatting, and obviously if you're chatting with guys, a lot of conversation does go to women. And I was fairly blue-pilled at the time, very more traditional and very much indoctrinated into a system from the UK. Yeah. And I started speaking to David and figuring out some of the stuff he was doing with girls and like had seen multiple girls and, and all this different, the different things and some of the things he was pulling off. And he started teaching me about it and talking to me about it and telling me how the, the world really works when it comes to women and what they actually want. And, uh, he's about, I think he's 36, 37. Um, and I was 22, so he had a lot more experience than me. So he was the guy that got me into it. I started testing, I was like, shit, this stuff works.
Yeah, yeah, it's crazy.
I was—
so I was in like a 6-year relationship before my current relationship, right? And so we had a bad breakup, and like, you know, there's a lot of shit on her phone that I came across and all this, and it, it red-pilled me. It snapped me out of it, okay? And it was great in hindsight, you know, like, I was like, we were like 24, 25, so we broke up, went our separate ways. But so I was like, oh, I don't know how to even speak to girls, I don't even know how to date. So I started watching like a lot of YouTube, like Real Social Dynamics and RSD and all these guys. And just the underlying message was just to be more confident, yeah, you know, and is to work on yourself. And goes, when you have got your life set up Well, then now it's— you can go on dates. Now the girls will chase you.
Exactly right.
So just put yourself in a position where you're not chasing around looking desperate.
Yeah.
Whereas that your life is so sick, people want to get involved. So that was like the biggest dating thing I learned.
And a lot of it comes down to— have you read, uh, Dan Bilzerian's book The Setup?
I, I've read bits of it. I've yet to read the full thing.
I love that book.
But I think Dan's awesome.
Dan is a—
he's in legend. I hate when people say they don't like I like him. I've actually got like, you know, people, loads of people that have met him and gone to his parties and says he's the nicest guy ever.
Yeah, well, I've seen basically everything Dan's put out, all his podcasts. Yeah, he seems like a down-to-earth gee, and his book's amazing.
Yeah, okay, I'm gonna read it.
He basically talks about it, it's all about the setup. So when you set up your life in the right way, when you have the villa in Marbella and you're going out and doing the cool stuff and people find you on the internet and you've got some money and you're in and then he talks a lot about if you want to close the deal, you, you need to have everything set up in a way where it's not difficult. So there'll be guys that stay in a hotel an hour away from the club.
Yeah.
And they try and get a couple of girls back that they've met, and they say, oh, where's your hotel? It's here. No, not going. Yeah. Compared to the guy that has the hotel 5 minutes across the road, bang, he gets the 2 girls. Oh, it's just over here, it's just 5 minutes away.
Sweet upstairs.
And the girls, yeah, it's a suite upstairs, it's in, it's in the back. Back, whatever. The setup is so important when it comes to, to women, especially if you're in a young stage of partying, you want to just see women casually. You need to make sure you've got the setup, yeah, uh, correct. Otherwise you're just shooting yourself in the foot.
Exactly.
Like Dan talks about, when he's, when he's younger, he used to go to this lake house, um, that I think is one of his, uh, dad's friends had. And they go to this lake house, and him and his buddy would be out on the boat, and they pull up to other lake houses around the dock and be like, oh, do you want to go on the wakeboards with the girls? And they've got an activity today. Yeah. And then after, they'd be like, oh, 'Come have a barbecue at our place.' And before you know it, they're back and they're into you because the setup was so easy.
Exactly. And so one of the easiest places that I've pulled when I was like single— I've gone there so many times— is Las Vegas. And the reason for that is because every single hotel or nightclub— every nightclub's in a hotel, and every hotel has a nightclub. Have you ever been to Vegas?
I've never been.
Oh, you never? Oh, okay.
Get me to Vegas, baby.
Yeah, yeah, it works. Going. Yeah. Oh, but so I mean like, you know, uh, let's say you're in Omnia or Caesars Palace, whatever it is, all the big nightclubs are like— you can probably picture Las Vegas, you know what it looks like— they're all just on the bottom floor of the hotel. So it's like whatever you're staying, you're literally just like key card, bang, and you've resumed the night afterwards.
Fantastic. Yeah, out for seconds and first. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Oh, oh, one minute of glory. But yeah, that's so interesting about logistics, how that's kind of one of the biggest factors. And so you've also got a video that I had a good look at today, and it was titled "How to Go from a 2 to a 10: How a Guy Can Do That, Looksmaxing." Yeah, I think it's 2 to a 9 or something.
Something like that.
Yeah, something like that, right? So tell me, right, how does a guy go up a few levels, and what is looksmaxing?
Looksmaxing is when you change the way that, that you look. You do everything in your power to become the best person that you could possibly be. So if you are currently sitting there and you're addicted to video games and you've got no muscle on you and you don't have a job and you've got very little self-respect and you're watching porn all the time, you could— you're probably around a 2 or a 3 depending on the way that you look. If you've never done any self-development, you can improve those numbers massively if you just start hitting the gym you sort your skin out, you sort your hair out, you get some— you get a stylist, or you, you go and speak to someone. So my friend Dario, he actually said, once you've got a little bit of money, go and speak to one of the store assistants in a shop. Yeah, but we shop a lot of Boss now. Uh, Boss is really doing some good stuff, really.
Yeah, and I love Massimo Dutti at the moment. I don't know how you pronounce that.
I've not— I've not been in there.
Oh man, there's one.
Oh no, yeah, I have. There's one in Marbella.
Yeah, yeah. Yes. Oh man, it's besides Zara, it's quality.
Perfect. And good prices.
Oh yeah, yeah, exactly. You don't even need to shop designer, you know, like obviously it's great if you do, but you know, there's so— there's a lot of good options.
There's a lot of options. But go and speak to somebody that knows style and fashion. Find somebody on the internet that you want to replicate their style, somebody that does well.
Yeah.
Um, and looks good. And then go into the store and say, look, I want to look like this guy, what can you recommend? Dress me up. Get yourself sorted. Wear a nice— wear a nice cologne. I mean, there's so much you can do if you're currently at 2 or 3 and you start training and you learn how to fight and you start a business or you start working a job and you have all this self-confidence. It doesn't really matter if you're, if you're ugly because, yeah, ugly guys get pussy. Oh yeah, like girls don't care that much if you're a bit— if you're built and you're a bit ugly and you've— and you've made— and you make money and you're— and you're dressed well. Yeah, you smell good and you're well groomed. Like, there's nothing you can't really do.
Yeah, I'm like, hey yo, half the girls I date are taller than me.
Exactly, exactly. A lot of guys on that part on the internet, a lot of guys will be like, I'm short, like, it's never gonna happen for me. Just fuck it, there's nothing you fucking do about it. Yeah, you just gotta go out there, just, just go get it.
Exactly. And you know what, so I think the basis is, you know, obviously losing body fat and getting in shape. But so many people, like guys and even girls, they've got like great looking faces, and if they just like, you know, um, got themselves healthy and in shape, yeah, it's like you're kind of giving yourself a facelift. Like, you change your actual look. Looks. Like, when you lose body fat, you don't just change your physique, you change your looks as well. And obviously your discipline, your mindset.
Yeah.
And everything. So I'm, I'm a believer that a guy can go from like a 3 to an 8 and a 9.
Yeah, yeah.
Like, guys especially, like, get a fade, you know, get in the gym, you know, get your face. I get a fade every week. I'm gonna get one now after this. But yeah, so I think, uh, guys can make huge improvements and they don't even like realize it, and they don't realize even like the positive effect. It's not a— it's not just a vanity thing. It's like the positive effect when you look in the mirror and you see something that you're proud of, you're proud of the way you present yourself, it's going to have an impact in every single thing in your life.
Totally agree.
And so what's the day-to-day life looking like for you at the moment? When you wake up, I know you're on holidays at the moment, but generally speaking?
Generally speaking, if we were in Bangkok right now, now, I would be wake up in the morning, into the gym, probably wake up 7, downstairs into the gym. Yeah, work out hard, sauna, upstairs on the laptops, team come around, um, which includes sort of sales. Yeah, marketing, perhaps videographer, not 100% sure yet, might do still shoot solo. Deciding whether to get a videographer or not. Yeah, but we're basically map out, okay, what's content going to be like this week, what have we got to do, how are we going to get leads in for our courses and things. Go for all of that, eat well, plenty of steak, 3 steaks a day. Yeah, yeah, steak and eggs and, and rice. And then hit our targets for cash collected, um, and then go and do something fun.
Nice.
Go and do something fun, find some— get— take some girls out, go for a nice dinner. Um, have, have one of, one or two of the girlfriends around and, uh, enjoy ourselves and maybe watch a movie or something. But that's basically what life will be like. And then weekend, we would work 3 weeks of the month and then every 4th week we'd go away for an adventure. Okay, like climb Mount Kilimanjaro or something like that. That's the plan. Like hunting in Siberia or something.
No way! Yeah, that's— I love that, you know, I love that word adventure.
Adventure.
So British. Yeah, we're going on an adventure.
Get me on an adventure.
Yeah, the lies of Thornberry. We're going on an adventure.
I love it. Yeah, there's nothing I love more than a fucking adventure. To put the phones away. Yeah, but everything away. To just run around in the jungle and get into an adventure.
Yeah. And so is Marbella a bit of an adventure for you? How long are you gonna stay for?
Yeah, I haven't got an outbound flight. I've been here the next couple of days, I think. And then I'll head back, see my grandma for her birthday, and then fly back to Thailand. Yeah, yeah.
And so, right before we go, I want to wrap things up with the Ibiza story. Tell us, tell us about the story. This is fresh.
This is a fresh one.
Fresh meat one.
Yeah, so we— for my friend, my friend Dario, it's his, uh, 29th birthday, and he wanted us all to go to Ibiza. He loves the clubs, he loves DJs. I never met somebody that likes to, like, like just be in the club and listen to music so much. He genuinely enjoys it. For me, I'm like, it's fun and that, but for me it's more fun for get— for getting girls and that. Yeah, I'm not too fussed by the DJs, but he loves the music. So we all went for his birthday, 9 of us, and we got this sick villa, this, uh, castle, and we were over the moon. We, we got off this flight, we've run a flight with Ricky Hatton, you know the box.
Oh yeah, no way!
There's only one. Yeah. Yeah, the flight was nuts. Everyone was just doing their thing, like getting absolutely steaming on the flight. Everyone's standing up, there's music going. A couple of fights nearly broke out on the plane. Ryanair, great guy by the way, it was awesome. And, uh, and so we're on our way, we touch down, everyone's buzzed. We get in a cab, take us to a nearby supermarket, buy champagne, Moët's, and vodkas and stuff like that. And, uh, we were dressed pretty well. Me and Dario both have LV bags and got Rimowa suitcases and things, so we looked fairly flash. And we got to the villa, absolutely blew our minds. We're running around, it was just like a bunch of little boys, just, just, yeah, oh my God, it's gonna be the best fucking holiday of our lives!
Yeah, yeah, you always— it's the first day syndrome.
And we've got— we found this, uh, table football and we pulled it out of the garage, we put it in the front of the house, we were playing table football, having a few drinks. We're like, all right, let's go to a club, went to Hi.
Best club in my opinion.
I really, really like Hi. Yeah. So went there, great night, pulled a couple of, uh, Latinas.
Yeah, you know what, in your video you said Latinos. I was like, between them and the French twins, there's something going on here.
I was a little bit faded when I made that video, come back off the trip. But Latinas, we went back couple Latinas and, uh, got to the house and just popped a bottle of champagne, having a great time. My friend Matt went up to his room, came back down, it's like, Jack, there's €1,000 missing from my, from my, my, my drawer. And I was like, that's weird, man. He said, has any of the girls been upstairs? And I was like, no, they haven't been. And he was pretty sure in his head that the girls had been upstairs, stolen his stuff at this point. Yeah. So we weren't freaking out too much, probably just ask him and get it back. Yeah. Yeah, so I went— I didn't think much of it, actually. I was not really thinking straight. And, uh, I had a few glasses of champagne, went upstairs with my girl, and got into my room. And both the double doors were open. I had the biggest room there on the balcony. Both the doors were wide open, and I still got into bed with this girl.
Yeah, you're like, priorities.
I didn't even think about it. Yeah, yeah, they've blown open.
Yeah, yeah, it must be a draft in here.
Totally locked and they've blown open. And then I looked to the wardrobe. Both wardrobes were open, and I'd hidden my— I always hide my stuff. I'm fairly, uh, paranoid about robberies and shit anyway. So I'd hidden all my stuff in the wardrobe behind blankets and things, and I noticed both wardrobes were open and just ripped apart. The whole room was ripped apart, and I noticed just everything was gone. Like, my Louis Vuitton bag, I had 6 grand cash, I had all my clothes, all my designer clothes.
Oh man, they took the clothes.
Fendi shoes, Gucci shoes, um, all my stuff. My fucking toothbrush they took.
That was Was it a good electric toothbrush?
Fucking sick joke. No, it was a fucking normal toothbrush.
Plastic one!
And I'd already taken it out of my bag, my wash bag, and I'd put it on the side in the bathroom, and they took it.
That is— that's probably just like a power move from them. They're like, "I fucking hate this guy.
I'm gonna take his toothbrush." "He fucking can't brush his teeth." "Smelly fart motherfucker." "I don't give a fuck." "Yeah, yeah, yeah." "You took all my other stuff. You think I give a fuck about a toothbrush?" And, uh, so they took all that. I started going crazy at this point. I was like, oh fuck, this is, this is not good at all because I had all my laptops for running my business, my iPads, um, my documents for my Dubai business, my Emirates ID, all my bank banking cards, everything. So I was freaking out at this point. And we basically— the other boys got back from the club, everyone checked their rooms, everyone's stuff— oh my God. Gone. Suitcases, everyone's clothes, everyone's cash, everything gone. And then we checked outside, and by some stroke of luck, they'd thrown my passport and my hard drive with all my videos on, and my documents for my business in Dubai, and all my bank cards. They just thrown— wow, just chucked them. Same with everyone else's, like, passports.
Yeah, out of the cars, the bags, and they chucked them.
Yeah, just out on the side of the street.
Wow. Do you know what, actually, that's crazy that you mentioned that. I was in Miami once and I was with Mike Thurston and Max Tuning, and we were staying in an Airbnb, and our place got broken into, okay? And passports were taken, and I had a flight in a few hours, more or less. This is at like 10 at night we got home. I had a flight like the next morning, and like, we were like, "Oh my God," you know? I was like, "Take anything but the passport." And then the following day, like at about, you know, midday, some like banger of a car, like, you know, some hood car comes up, chucks my passport at the front door, drives off. So like, they're like, they obviously had a moment of guilt.
Yeah.
Or they're like, oh, I don't need this, this guy's stuck. I was like, hey yo, do you want to throw the phone and wallet back? But they just chucked it back like that, I, I, into the front yard. It was like a house. And I was like, it's so weird. I'm like, hey, maybe you could have sold that.
Actually, mine was, my, my bank cards are out on the drive, I've thrown out of the car. That's true. My documents were up. So we found one of my friend's suit— there was an upstairs room that none of us really went in. We went in there, we found my friend's whole suitcase. They didn't like his clothes, so they'd left all his stuff, um, because he didn't have any designers in there. Yeah, so he was like, why have they taken my suitcase? It's the worst suitcase, bro. And then, uh, and then, and then we found his suitcase, and in there we found they'd left my documents and my hard drive, which is good. Yeah, um, so that was all right. And then we, we went nuts. We just, we feel like we've got to drown our sorrows.
Yeah.
Yeah, let's— we went to the police, we obviously did all of that. We tried to track the AirTags, went to a few locations, scouted out apartment building, but we think it was a safe house.
Yeah.
And we couldn't— we questioned a few people, there's nothing we could really do. And then we just partied. We just had a fantastic time for 5 days with no, no clothes or toothbrushing.
Nice. Yeah, nice.
Just complete dirty, horrible degenerates.
Lovely. That's what you got to do. And I liked your mindset afterwards. That's what I want to touch on and wrap up on. What was your mindset that kind of afterwards.
At the end of the day, it's only stuff, and you can very quickly become your things. As you make your way up in the world and start earning more money, you start to place your value on the things that you own. And when you get it all taken away, you realize that you're still left with everything that you've achieved and done. So I still felt good. I still felt like— I don't know, my clothes, I'm like, it doesn't make a difference. Yeah, I still have no problem with girls. I was not wearing good clothes, like, it was no issue because I still have the innate thing inside of me, like, I can get it all back. It's not a big issue. It's about who you become, not what you acquire along the way. And that's a beautiful thing because no one can take that.
That's very nice. And so tell me, what is the game plan for the second half of the year?
Second half of the year, content mania. Go crazy on the content. I want to do a lot more vlog lifestyle content. Bangkok, show people the lifestyle, get into that, and go— yeah, go crazy on the videos, build out our business, continue bringing on members for the, for the new Elite and 10K Accelerator, keep changing people's lives, and probably do another event before the year's out.
Nice.
The event we just did was amazing.
Oh man, I just did one in Marbella and so far it's the best day I had this year. Yeah, it's the best day I had in the summer, really. Hey, honestly, what—
why?
Very— not only like a proud feeling, but you know, it's a party and everyone networks and everything. It's like you're kind of— you're combining work and pleasure.
You are, you really are. And I amazing things. Like, these networking— I've done a lot of them myself for other groups, like, been to them, and they are amazing.
Yeah, they're pretty—
you make one connection, you make your money. They, they pay for themselves 10 times over.
That's such a good way to put it. Make one connection, make your money back.
One connection. I've made one connection at, um, events before, and it's paid double, triple the event, just that one connection. Yeah. Let alone what I learned at the event and all the other things.
Man, I wish—
ROIs are crazy.
I wish I had that, that quote when I was marketing the event.
You use it for your next—
yeah, I'm gonna use it for the next Tell the people where they can find you.
You can find me, the CEO of Testosterone, on YouTube, or Jack Hopp Fitness on Instagram. They're my two main places to find me. Go check me out if you want any of my stuff. It's all linked under the videos.
Boom! Thank you so much for coming on the podcast today, and great to have you here in Marbella, mate.
Thank you for having me. Boom! Good man.
