A Full Day Of Eating, Training & Marbella Villa Upgrades

Rob Lipsett opens his vlog with a Monday morning routine in Marbella, showcasing his meal‑prep system (açaí bowls from The Deli/Posh Meals) and discussing the nutritional pros and cons of açaí. He outlines his baby’s nap schedule and heads to the Oxygen gym, where he demonstrates a back‑focused workout, offering detailed cues for chest‑supported rows, lat pulldowns, unilateral rows, and cable pullovers, plus tips on grip and form. After the session he eats at the nearby Byoko restaurant, highlighting a salmon‑mango‑avocado bowl and a chicken‑butter bowl. The vlog then shifts to villa upgrades: a custom couch, micro‑cement on the upstairs floor, a relocated fireplace, 1950s iron chairs, a removable pool fence for child safety, lounge chairs, and plans for a high‑end sauna and ice‑bath. He reviews the Iron Stealth adjustable dumbbells, performs a max‑weight set challenge, and shares a quick chocolate‑blueberry mug‑cake recipe. Finally, Rob and a co‑host discuss personal‑brand longevity, emphasizing integrity, promoting only products he truly uses, and the importance of in‑person events to gauge audience health. He promotes his Digital Game Plan coaching service, invites viewers to DM him, and ends with a call‑to‑action to subscribe and stay positive.

What is going on, everyone? Good morning! Welcome to another From Marbella, day in the life. It is Monday. A Monday ritual, the first thing we do is we pick up our meal prep. Look at that, got my name on it. And we start our day with açaí bowls. That's that Monday morning grind. Look at them. This is from the place that does, it's a cafe that does our meal prep as well, all in one. We get like 10 meals a week. Makes life a lot easier, especially when you've a baby, convenience is everything. I'll usually have like one of these a day and then make my own meals around that. Chicken pasta, crispy chili beef, shepherd's pie. That's a nice bit of Irishness. I think they threw that in there 'cause we're Irish. These are from Posh Meals, and then the name of the cafe is The Deli, so same owner, good friend of mine. I usually actually just put these straight in the freezer, so gonna do that now. We're gonna eat these and then we're gonna have a killer day, so let's get into it. Look at that, first meal of the day. Are acai bowls healthy? Not really. Low in protein, high in calories, high in fats and carbs, but they are nutrient-dense. A lot of fruit and veg. The actual açaí berry is very nutrient-dense as well. Are they a good cutting meal if you're getting lean for summer? Probably not. Are they delicious and worth the calories? In my opinion, yes. That's why we're having one now. This is probably my favorite açaí bowl in Marbella. Look at that, makes Monday that bit easier. All right, breakfast done. It is nap time. So she's in a great routine. She goes for a nap at 8:30 in the morning and then about 2 PM, and then she goes to bed at like 7. Yeah. So that's what our day revolves around. So I'm going to go do a little bit of work now. Linda's going to put her for a nap, and that's our day. That's our routine. He's the freshest bean. He's the freshest bean. See you guys in a bit. We are on the way to Oxygen, one of my favorite gyms in Marbella. Here are the top gyms in Marbella in no order because they're all very different. One Elements Gym, Real Paddle Club, that's probably the most popular gym. Oxygen, which we are going to now. The IO, very fancy, it's in San Pedro. M13, badass old-school bodybuilding gym. And then the newest gym is Icons Gym, which has a really nice sauna and ice bath combo. The fact that these gyms are all short drive from each other is one of the reasons why I think Marbella is one of the best spots in Europe to just train and live a healthy lifestyle. Fitness scene here is one of a kind when you combine it with the weather. So we're going to be there in Oxygen in 10 minutes. Let's go hit a lift. Just parked up at Oxygen. Sun came out, got parking right next to the door, so the workout is already off to a good one. It's already a win. Alright guys, so we're kicking things off with the chest supported row. One of my all-time favorite movements because it keeps you honest. You're locked in. We're going pretty light here. High rep. Get the pump going. Up and out. So in typical back workout, your main movements are going to be vertical row, so lat pulldown, something like that, weighted pull-ups, horizontal row, so that's going to be like a chest support row, a barbell row. And I like to add in a unilateral row, so that means it's just one arm at a time, get a little bit of a crunch on the lat. So this machine here, absolutely perfect for it. So what I like to do is almost kind of crunch down on the lat, so move into your side like this instead of just doing straight down, which is fine as well. Kind of in like that, a little bit of body language. Lac cruncher, baby! Another one you can add in is a pullover movement. So my favorite variation of this is going to be cable pullovers. This machine is pretty good here, a pullover machine, but A lot of them, they can feel kind of awkward, so you got to figure out how— figure out what feels best for you. So for example, right, you have this setup here. So what you do with this— so the way the machine is, you're made to do it, is put your elbows here and you grab on like that, but can feel a little bit awkward. So what you can do, better just go hands-free, keep your hands straight like this. I think that feels more like a cable pullover, so just do it like so. Or you can take your elbows off the pads, grab just the bars. You don't need to put your elbows in the pads. A huge stretch like that. Oh yeah. Also do a narrow grip like this, so that kind of feels like a dumbbell, cuz with a dumbbell your hands are close as well. But I think out of all them My favorite is just elbows on the pads. And look at that, a hammer grip. Just crush down with the lats. Killer. That's after big ass eyeball. Finish it off with some shrugs. Real togs do shrugs. Workout done, time to eat. This is Byoko, which is literally below the gym, and we just can't not go in here. The food is so good. Like, look how aesthetic that is. Like, that is just insane, the colors. I went for the salmon and mango avocado bowl. Linda got the classic chicken butter bowl. We're Irish, so we have to get some potatoes with every meal. This is superfood right there. So we're gonna relax, enjoy this now, and then head back. But oh my God, I'm so excited. Going to do it again now. Epic workout, epic feed, epic day. We demolished that. Like, there's, there's not a grain of rice there. That was too good. Mango salmon salad, very healthy, very colorful. Lot of nutrients. Now next on today's list, more furniture. In the last vlog we had furniture stores, again we're back in the furniture store. So we're going to a place in San Pedro to check out a custom-made couch that we're looking at getting. So see you guys there. So this is the one we are looking at, but we would have it like an extra cushion longer this way, but I absolutely love that That's super nice. Nearly 90% sure we are gonna go for that. It's not cheap, and I'm like, if I didn't have to pay that massive fine, could have gotten many couches. But you can't think like that, cannot think like that.
Onwards we go.
Back at home now. Something I will do, I will always have some chopped up chicken breast or turkey breast just prepped. We use this little yogurt container to prep it, but I'll just have little pieces of chicken and turkey, like seasoned really well, cooked in the air fryer. Just like if I ever need a hit of pure protein, or if you go to the fridge and you feel like snacking, you just have this, a bit of hot sauce on it. Like, I actually love it. The bro in me could just eat that all day. Like, that was delicious. And we always recycle, you know, use all the containers. All right guys, I know you love villa updates, so we have a few going on here. Like I said in the last vlog, The upstairs is getting fresh microcement on. It is on right now. It looks amazing. I'll show you it in the next vlog. The couch is picked out and everything. Okay, here's some more updates. First of all, we brought the fireplace down here. Actually kind of like it. It looks cool down here. It looks moody. We got those iron chairs. These chairs, I'm not joking, they are from the 1950s. They were from the original house when we renovated and we didn't throw them out. They're actually— they're good quality. So deck chairs moved down here because we got the pool guard. Okay, and so me and Linda, we posted a reel that I'll put on the screen here of Isabel's first steps. The top comment was get a pool fence. It is actually— I didn't know this— it is the leading cause of death in children aged 1 to 3 or 4 or something. Drowning. Drowning. So a very serious thing if you have a pool in your house. Not many Irish people do, but in America it's a big thing. Or if you're here in Spain a pool guard, it's essential. So we got it, and it actually doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. It's also removable if anyone is renting the villa. Brands also rent the villa for shoots as well, so you can remove it, and I think it looks pretty good. A few more updates, uh, so kind of love the loungers down there as well. You got a little bit of shade. Huge, huge, like the final upgrade, the final boss of upgrades. Next week we have like the final bit of space in the garden, a high-end sauna. Going there. I am so excited. Like, I do so much saunas when I'm in Dublin. There's really not that many sauna spots here in Marbella. So gonna be right there in that big blank area. So you have the sauna there, you have the pool, of course you have the ice bath from an Irish company, C11 Recovery. I'm like, what should go here? Maybe just like a little coffee table or something. And then you have the gym here. Like, I love this house so much. Like, it makes me feel better about the fine in the last vlog. Just like, when I see it just come together, when I see how good it looks, I really never want to leave. Like, I love it. I know there's bigger villas, there's mega villas and everything, but I, I love this. Like, for me, this is actually my dream home. And we got another upgrade, another one this video. How could I— what could I call it? Just upgrades the villa Lipsett.
What the hell?
Look at the size of that thing. That thing needs to go. Oh my God, oh my God. Okay, so final upgrade, we got the best adjustable dumbbells on the market. So there's somebody, he, I think it's called Coop Home Gym Reviews, he's amazing channel, it's all just about home gym equipment. And he literally said on one of his videos that these dumbbells are better than actual like set dumbbells. And I didn't believe him until I got these. And these are like the heavy metal Iron Stealth adjustable dumbbells. They go from 4 to 41 kg, and I just took them for a spin there. They're so solid, like they do not feel like adjustable dumbbells. I'm absolutely delighted with them. So I'm still going to keep that as well, as like I like— I do like just having choice to be able to pick up a dumbbell. But these are genuinely unreal. I'm going to show you a set with them now. And here, let me, let me adjust them for you. First of all, look how clean they look, the stand and everything. We got the old marks from the other dumbbells. We got the 50 kgs there. But look at these. 4, and they're so quick to do. So 4, like that, so smooth. Locked and loaded all the way up to 41, which we're going to do now. All right, so here's the deal. I've already worked out today, but I'm going to take these for a spin. If I get 10 reps on max weight, 41.5 kg, you got to like the video, you got to hit subscribe, you got to turn notifications on. If I don't get 10 reps, you can go, you can unsubscribe, you can drop a mean comment, you can slate me as much as you want. So that's my motivation to hit this set. Like, look at that, look how sturdy they are.
They're—
it's just like proper dumbbells. They look sick. Okay, 10 reps. 3, 2, 12. Surely that's got to get me to 500K subs. Okay, I'm in the mood for something sweet. I've not made this in so long. I'm pretty sure this is how the recipe goes. We're gonna try our luck anyways. It's gonna be 1 scoop of this cocoa mix from Ghost, a little tiny bit of baking soda, about 20 grams of flour, 5 grams of cocoa powder, some sweetener, a few blueberries, and just a dash of milk until it's the right consistency. Then you put it in the microwave and that should make us a chocolate blueberry muffin mug cake thing. Let's give it a go. I used to have this when I was on prep and I wanted to feel something. Okay, one scoop of that. Just gonna eyeball this. It's just like a dash of that. 5 grams of this, like a teaspoon. Tiny bit of this. I think this makes it blow up if you put in too much. Stevia. Some milk. Just enough milk to like make it goop. Blueberries. Okay, so that's what it looks like. All right, here's the result. It literally looks like bird shit. That's actually— oh my God. Oh wow, that's actually really good. Wow. So I microwaved it until it was like piping hot, and then I actually put it in the freezer for like 5 minutes to harden it up. That's actually solid. Hope you enjoyed today's vlog.
I'm just finishing off the day up in the office, up in the roost. I've got a game plan called call in the morning, and I'm just preparing for that call. And what I want to talk about is— I'll give you a sneak preview— how I've managed to build a personal brand that has lasted me 12 years. I've got longevity in this game, and there's two reasons, there's two factors. One is obvious and one is not so obvious. So the first obvious one is integrity and only pushing and promoting things I actually believe in, like the dumbbells today. They're, they're absolutely sick.
Like, I genuinely am going to use them.
Or my coaching, or the Digital Game Plan. When I launch something, it's something that I would recommend to friends and family. I've always said that. That's kind of obvious. The second not-so-obvious one. So my audience, you guys watching this, are, are so good. One of the biggest factors in measuring if you've got a good audience on social media is doing in-real-life events. So I do lots of in-real-life events, be it expos the run club, meetups, paid seminars, paid events that we have in Marbella again at the start of June. That is the biggest way to measure if you've built a proper personal brand, if you can actually get people offline in person. And even I meet people in the gym every single day, and it's the nicest thing ever. It is absolutely amazing. So that's how you, you actually measure your real-life personal brand, your social media career. How I've done that, how I've built such a responsive receptive and sound audience is this: lay down with the dogs, you wake up with the fleas. If you create negativity, drama, gossip, beef, which is all fine to do the odd time, but if you build it around that, you're going to attract people who are like that. You're going to attract people who are just watching for drama and negativity. I've built my content around positivity, about approaching life with enthusiasm, lifting weights, starting businesses, waking up every morning and just being excited to go about your day. And as a result, my audience, you guys, are the best people ever. Like, I've got like one of the best online communities ever. And so if you're going down this content creation journey, that is something to keep in mind.
Like, so many people are doing like screen recording other people's clips and like reacting to them all negatively and like calling people out. Like, yeah, it works. Yes, some people do that.
I'm not bothered. I'm not doing that. I'm just gonna do me, going about my day, providing as much value as I can. Absolutely love you guys. If you're interested on beginning your content creation journey, there's a link in the description box, or just DM me on Instagram, Digital Game Plan. And if you want to have a chat about it, I will get back to you personally.
No AI, no ManyChat.
I will respond personally.
Pumped for the call in the morning. Gonna wrap things up here.
I hope you enjoyed today's day in the life video. I'll see you in the next one.
Keep it real. Peace.
