What A Trip To Mykonos Looks Like

Rob Lipsett takes viewers on a day‑by‑day vlog of his week in Mykonos, beginning with a sunrise arrival at the Charisma Hotel, a tour of his room, the on‑site gym (Mykonos Performance), and a lavish complimentary breakfast. He outlines his health‑focused itinerary—light daily workouts, heavy sessions, and content creation—while showcasing the hotel’s amenities, the surrounding scenery, and local wildlife (goats). The vlog then follows Rob and his companion Linda to Kalua Beach Club, where he shares practical travel tips (seasonal timing, booking strategy, packing advice) and brand collaborations (Guess, Massimo, Wraith, Zara). He details dinner plans at Zuma and Scorpios, describing menu highlights (baby chicken, spicy tuna, edamame) and the overall dining experience. Throughout, Rob intersperses fashion and gear shout‑outs, discusses the importance of a reliable driver, and reflects on imposter syndrome, framing it as a positive sign of growth. The video concludes with a night‑out at Scorpios, a pool‑room upgrade reveal, and a motivational message about gratitude and self‑belief.

I was just recording today's B-roll and I'm like, wait, it looks kind of bad if the hotel doesn't make the bed. I'm just used to doing it every morning, but they do, they do make the bed in the hotel here. Good morning, welcome to Mykonos. Look at those rocks, they We are just undeniably Mykonos. Look at that view. It is like 7 AM, it's very early. We got in yesterday. I think we slept for 12 hours. Honestly, we were wrecked because we took an overnight flight. But today is our first full day in Mykonos. I'm so excited. We're gonna get dressed, get sharpened up, go down, eat breakfast, hit the gym, create content. It's gonna be a good time and the weather's meant to be great today. So let's get into it. All right, so here's the hotel. You walk out and then this is actually a separate gym that you can go to even if not staying in the hotel. It's called Mykonos Performance. Let's check it out. So we're just checking out the gym now, but I think I'm gonna do a proper workout around midday when the sun's out. And by the way, the hotel is charisma. I'm just looking at these goats running around up here. The name of the hotel is Charisma Hotel.
Another goat. Will I zoom in?
Zoom in on the goats. All right, so this is the gym. So cool. You know I'm talking about pergolas a lot on this channel. I really like this pergola. We got the dumbbells over here, we got the jump boxes here. All the weights goes up to 40. We got the bench press, trap bar deadlifts. I do not do them enough. I like the look of that trap bar deadlift. Barbell rack, everything you need. Cardio equipment. And I've actually seen some really cool videos of people like pulling the cardio equipment right out to the very edge. The sunset, the sea, and everything just looks so cool. So we're gonna go get breakfast now, but this This is my home for the week. I'm going to try do like at least a light session every single day and a few heavy sessions as well to keep me ticking over. As we've gone to Mykonos before and we've partied it up, this is going to be more of a health and wellness trip. Your wallet, please. Yes, on my hip.
Here.
Thank you.
And your expedito.
Beautiful, thank you. Beautiful, thank you. Okay, so the breakfast here is absolutely insane. It's also included, so we'll be having breakfast every morning, giving the old intermittent fasting a break. I went poached eggs, Linda got the whole egg omelette. 2 coffees, 2 orange juice. This protein banana bread with peanut butter, how good does that look? Then we got these protein bites. We actually had these yesterday when we checked in, they're delicious. We got overnight oats with Nutella and strawberries, and then a big fruit bowl as well. This like sets you up very nicely for the day. And like, we might even take them to go, put them in the fridge. But either way, we're going to dig into this with, uh, Muska.
The cat.
Muska the cat. So this is our little bud here now for breakfast. He's so friendly. She's so friendly. Gotta give you a room tour while the place is fresh, so come on in. First of all, we have this beautiful open-plan Massive sink, massive shower, massive bathroom. Big huge mirror here. Beautiful bed. I love this fridge.
It's like—
I thought it was a speaker and I was like, "That's a bit too big to be a speaker for a hotel room." It's actually a fridge, so pretty cool. Got a little desk workspace set up here. I love the stone wall behind the bed. Love these hanging lamps as well. And then the best part of the whole room is the view.
Wow.
So check this. Look at that. All the infinity pools, the beautiful mountainscape. Little hut up there. Got a few goats, a few sheep, and then a sea view. So we're here in Mykonos for the week and I'm so excited. We've not been here for so, so long. Let's do some killer Mykonos vlogs. All right, successful morning. Breakfast done, a little pump, a little mini pump in the gym. Then we shot a bunch of content. We just love to do that. Like, I love the actual act of taking photos and videos. Like, I love being a content creator. Like, I understand why people get into photography and videography. It's like when you just take that banger and you're just like, just connects and you're just like, Yes! So that's what we were doing all morning, and now we're getting ready for our first beach club experience. We're going to a place nearby called Kalua. Looks really good. They're doing like a collaboration with Guess, the clothing brand, on Instagram. So I'm like, that's how you know it's good when they're collaborating with big brands. So I got my sunglasses here. These are from Massimo. Shorts from Wraith. I also have a bunch of outfits for them. They kitted me out for this trip. Love these, like little subtle green. We have the Creed Fellas, if you are into cologne, I just keep coming back to this. Drop a comment, what do you think? I think this could be the GOAT. I just love it, I get pumped up when I wear it. And then we got our outfits laid out. I am going to wear this little linen tee, just something kind of casual for our first day. Let me throw it on. This is "Holidays with Rob." I think this is from Zara or something, and I just have it like, just so easy to throw on.
Nice.
There we go. Ready? Kalua Beach, go! Let's go! All right, so first beach day. We're in Kalua, Mykonos, and this place is just absolutely stunning. So we've been Mykonos, I would say like 4 or 5 times, and so here are my tips You do not actually need to go in peak season. Like, we've been in May and September and they've been amazing. This is our first time in May and we thought it would be way colder than it is. Like, the weather forecast looks really bad, it looks really windy, but it's roasting. Like, it feels like Marbella. We're tanning, we're baking here, it's hot. So that's something that we didn't know, wish we did know. At night it can get a little bit chilly, or in the morning, so pack a hoodie. But during the day, absolutely roasting. For making bookings in the shoulder seasons, it's going to be all right. Like, today we just walked in here, we didn't make a booking. There's loads of spaces, but it still is really busy as well. We did actually make a few bookings though. If you're going to the most popular places, probably best to be on the safe side. Tonight we are going to Azuma, which is in Cabo de Gómez, Mykonos, and that's the hotel you've probably seen before. It's a big infinity pool, it's beautiful. So we're going there tonight for sunset. That's another thing, in Spain they eat a lot later, whereas in Greece and Mykonos they like the sunset. So if you want to go like at peak time, book your dinners at 7 PM. That's the time we're going out tonight. Sun sets between 7 and 8. Another place that we have booked is Scorpios, which is actually right there. We can see it from here. I would say it's the equivalent of Playa Padre in Marbella. So that will be our big night out. But apart from that, we're having a very chill trip this time. We have like the gym and everything in the hotel, and we're gonna have a nice, healthy, wholesome trip. But Mykonos, highly recommend it. We were just saying, actually kind of preferred over Ibiza. Another thing as well, you think it's like a couple's place, but you can go here with a group, or you can go here as a couple. It's very romantic. It's also a big party place as well. So Mick and I recommend go here, live that Greek island life. Successful day at Kaloua Beach Club. We're just driving back now. Plan is we're gonna nap for a little bit. We're gonna go back anyways, uh, we're gonna get ready Tonight is probably like our biggest glam night. So we're going to Zuma, which is in Cabo to go, and it's like, it's like probably the best place. You have a Cabo vlog. I got a Cabo vlog on this channel somewhere. So we're going to the restaurant tonight, the sunset is going to be ridiculous. I've already done out my order, I cannot wait. So perfect day, chill for a little bit, and then big, big dinner tonight.
Baby chicken?
I want some sushi as well. I think, I think the baby chicken. Usually because I'm like always eating chicken breasts as a bodybuilder, I'm like, usually I don't get chicken when I order restaurants, but the chicken here is so good, I might have to get it. All right, heading out for dinner. By the way, I've been vlogging on the big boy, the A7. Can you notice a difference? Probably not. We are going to Cabo to go now to Zuma. We're super excited. The outfit I'm wearing, matching set from the same place that did my swim shorts. Shorts. It's called Wraith Clothing, and I'm just absolutely loving them. Shout them out. A lot of times in this vlog, I'm just feeling so Euro summer. I'm feeling like I'm on holidays wearing this stuff. Very, very comfortable. Even got the kind of, the kind of sliders, little Birkenstocks. So yeah, I'm feeling comfy, but I'm feeling dressed up. I'm feeling holiday mode. So we're gonna make a move now. Taxi's nearly here. That's another thing. If you go to Mykonos, you gotta like find a driver and stick with them for the entire thing. So. We're heading off now, see you in Zuma. These views, they just make the vlog, like seriously. This is why YouTube's so important, you gotta vlog moments like this, okay? So this is Cavo to go Mykonos, and that's the restaurant Zuma that we're going to tonight. And like, we've been here so many times, but they just renovated it and it is absolutely, I mean, It just makes me think, like, how— what do I do to end up in situations like this? Like, seriously insane. So we're gonna, like, have a little walk around, just people watch, taking all the scenes, and we're gonna order, get stuck in. But right now I'm just like, what a life. All right, starting things off with the edamame, and that looks so just decadent, like How good can edamame be? Let's find out. Cover a nice big meaty piece. I swear to God, they be pumping that with GMOs or something. That is not your basic edamame. Taste test. This is like, this is an experience. Okay.
It was the special. I want rating out of 10.
I don't want to be base That's 10. Like, that's a perfect bite. Salty, meaty, beefy. Oh my God, no, Linda, that is insane. That is insane. And it's not something we eat regularly. It's very rare. I love you again. I love you. The hunger is gone.
The hangerness is gone.
Yeah, have a little dip.
Transferring.
Yeah, good transfer. Caught the drip. How good is that? Wild. We never get this.
Amazing.
So good. Huge win, possibly the biggest win of the day. So we ordered the baby chicken for mains, they brought this over as a starter. We were like, oh, we ordered chicken for mains, and they said, you know what, it's on the house. So massive win. I'm gonna eat this, I'm gonna enjoy it, and I'm also gonna eat the baby chicken. And that was like— that's good service to them. Like, a lot of restaurants are like, 'Oh, okay,' and they bring it back. They were like, 'Have it on the house.' Um, that, that has made my evening.
Made your week.
That's made my week. The whole trip was profitable.
Spicy tuna roll.
One of the best spicy tunas I've ever had in my life.
You have baby chicken on the way.
Baby chicken on the way. Mackerels for today. Not enough protein. We'll live to see another day.
They're lifting the blinds for the sunset.
Oh my God, perfect timing.
Rob was like, when's it gonna happen?
No, oh my God, let's go!
We're gonna obviously show them this sunset.
I'm so glad we were vlogging at that time. Oh my God. All right guys, this is pretty much a bodybuilding meal. We have our chicken, we have our rice, and we have our broccoli. We are staying on point here. As you saw in the last clip, they opened up the curtains. And this is us now. This is like our favorite thing that we do. You get yourself a beautiful girl that loves you, that will mother your children. You get a nice glass of wine, you get a nice, nice meal, you're in a vibey place. I'm telling you, this is—
My car is here.
Oh my God. Now the timing on this vlog is just on point. Oh my God.
I've already been impatient But now my car is here.
Oh my gosh.
Oh my gosh.
Look at that for an end to the vlog. That's gotta be one of the coolest outros that I've ever done. Killer workout. Feels good. Getting it done on holiday in the sun. Amazing gym. Tunes playing. On with the day. As if this trip could not get any better, we got a room upgrade. So the room inside, pretty much the same, but outside, this is one of the few pool rooms. And like, picture this. You just wake up, you walk outside, and just like, come on. I mean, the view in the other one was amazing, amazing as well. But having your own pool, sun loungers, like the sea view— what is life? You know, I was speaking about— I was actually talking about this on Twitter. I get imposter syndrome a lot, and that's when you feel you're like, how is this my life? How am I here? Like, do I deserve this? Like, what the hell is going on? People often look at imposter syndrome as a bad thing, but I think it's a good thing because it shows you're still grateful for everything. You're still like, how is this happening? You're not taking anything for granted. So I always want to have imposter syndrome, even in business. When I get imposter syndrome, that means I'm in the right rooms with people better than me. I'm leveling up. So if you have imposter syndrome, if you're watching this, it's a good thing. Embrace it. It means you're not taking anything for granted and you're still excited and you still feel you're out of your depth, but in a good way. So I'm really enjoying my imposter syndrome out here every single day. Hi, that was just my life. I used to despise my life. I used to hate my 9 to 5. And that was 10 years ago, but I still feel like that was yesterday. So absolutely nuts. All right guys, so it is our final night out in Mykonos. Well, to be honest, this is our only night out. So we're going to a place you've probably heard of it before. It's called Scorpios Mykonos. Really vibey. We're going for dinner, then it turns into like a party. DJ, there's a really good DJ playing tonight. So I'll include some phone clips, but it's mom and dad's big night out. We're absolutely pumped. So let's make a move. There we go!
