Hey there, friends. It is holidays time and so I have put together some perfect ideas for that loved one. Maybe you want to send a fitness or a wellness gift to someone or even gift yourself. So I'm going to cover a few things here today. You see, I've got a lot of stuff sitting out here. First of all is a weighted vest, and this one's £25. This is a lot unless you're kind of conditioned for this. But they make many types of vests that start at like 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 pounds. They even have some vests that you can take weights on and off of. This has lead pellets in it, and as you can see, it fits pretty snug to me. And I can walk fast in my neighborhood with this on, but it helps strengthen core and my back and actually puts a little more load on my body so that when I walk, I'm getting a little better cardiovascular effect by adding weight to my frame. And believe it or not, I used to be way heavier, and this is just 25 pounds, but I probably lost 45 pounds from a heavy. This makes you really realize how much weight pushes down on your hips and your knees a lot. So I'll go ahead and take this off here. You can see how this one just snaps easily. My wife thinks I'm wearing a life preserver and I look like a Coast Guard guy and she won't walk with me when I'm wearing this. So now I'm just sharing that funny tidbit with you. I do have a TNT hat here, so if you're in our store right behind the counter, please grab one of these and maybe you like to have that. Let's come over here. Talk about a couple books. A lot of us know how to cook, a lot of protein and meats and so forth. This is the Engine 2 diet. It's RIP Esselstyn, one of my favorite guys. He's a firefighter and was a triathlete and a swimmer, but he's got a lot of recipes in here, a lot of plant based recipes. I found that people need help with a lot of cool plant based ideas, but this is a great gift for someone that really wants to get involved and really understand a little bit of your journey here at tnt. So if you want to send this to a loved one, loved one. It's just a 28 day plan to get yourself back in shape. I wanted to point out this guy here, Rich Roll. Great podcast. This is a super cookbook. But he also is a lot of Plant based guy. So this just gives you. Shows you there's good resources out there if you want to improve your ability to cook in your house. So some cool, cool stuff there.
Here in the villages in particular, this is a beach tennis paddle. And that way it's a lot easier on your body. You're hitting over a beach volleyball net and you're playing a game that way. Of course, we have a pickleball paddle and they make these that are very expensive or very inexpensive. You just choose what you want to do there. But two very popular sports down this way we also have the fitbeast. This is a. I just say this particular brand for about $15. This is a grip strengthening kit with about five different exerc bag. And I won't be able to get them all out here, but you know, one of them is for instance, this little squeezy ball here. And you have all kinds of devices in the bag. So grab this for grip strength. Everyone can improve grip strength. That one just happens to be about 15 bucks there. They have lacrosse balls you can buy on Amazon prime, for instance. But you place this against the wall and you can work out knots in your glutes, your back and so forth. And you just lean into this and it's like a pressure point. You can also use a foam roller if you want to get something like this a lot softer and help roll very tired or hurt muscles, if you will. I actually have this device here which this center part rolls and it's a little flexible. But I work my IT band here because I used to run a lot. And you have to roll this IT band here because it's such a fibrous part of your leg. A lot of knee trouble comes from a tight IT band. It has little to do with your knee, but this is on your knee and causing knee pain. So something like a good roller like that could help if you really want to kind of attack and get at some sore muscles. Then these massage guns. This one happens to be my power plate. I've seen some around the $89 to $100 range that this one's a little more expensive but are completely adequate. But you can hit different pressure points. You can even change the head on this. And I find a massage gun as a super gift for someone. One of my favorite activities is boxing. And so for you with your best friend, or maybe it's your husband or wife, these hip mitts are what I end up wearing when I'm training here with our folks here, These are around $22, and you pair them with a good 16 ounce boxing glove. And that way it protects the hand even if you have osteopenia and you're not really hitting hard. With this. It's more for speed work, for cardiovascular balance. And what a workout. But a ton of fun for a couple. Just a couple more things to finish up with here. This slant board is also one of my favorites. You can do all kinds of calf raiser work here to strengthen your ankles. You turn around on this thing here and you can do front squats here and you find that really fires up your quads. So talk about lower body strength. My knees actually do not hurt anymore because I sit on this slant here and I could just sit like this forever and my knees used to be really painful. So for me, this is a super device to work out my legs. And then finally, what people in the villages call the cardio drumming ball is actually a stability ball or whatever you want to call it. This is 65 centimeter size, but this is great for squats against the wall. And then in the evening you can set it down on the ground here and you're just stretching out after a long day. Your hips a little bit, your hamstrings. Great way to watch tv just like this. So I hope you will buy me lots of gifts here for the holidays. But certainly take care of your loved ones with all kinds of fitness equipment and enjoy your day. Thank you so much.
