Hey everyone, it's coach Ryan here. I want to talk to you about morning routines and really just adding some simple things to your morning routine. You know one of my favorite books, honestly, a life changing book of mine, the Miracle Morning, it talks about how just adding some simple little habits to your morning routine can have a profound impact on how the rest of your day goes. And I've experienced that firsthand ever since reading that book. I was never a morning person and not that I absolutely love mornings now, but having something to look forward to in the morning time actually makes me want to get to bed at a decent time and starts my day off on the right foot. So just adding one simple thing in the morning time that it really honestly excites you, it can make all the difference in the world. That was one of the biggest things I pulled from the Miracle Morning book. It gets you to bed a little bit more consistently and you start the day off doing something for yourself that energizes you, that you enjoy. I personally love to start off with some movement if I'm able to, if that's the particular day for it. And another thing that I try my best to do is to start off with some gratitude too. Just because we are seeing negativity all around us in every area of life, whether it's social media, we're seeing it on the news, this, that and the other. There's a lot of negativity out there, but there's also a lot of good and a lot of things that each and every one of us has things to be grateful for. And honestly, this is like going to the gym for your mind. You are priming yourself and you're really setting the stage for your mind to be looking for the good things, the opportunities that are happening the rest of the day and for you to focus on positive things as opposed to starting off the day in maybe a negative frame of mind, especially, you know, things like the news and social media and all that that tend to bring into our brains on a daily basis. So just those two simple things help me to start my day. You can start your day any which way you'd like, but one thing I would strongly encourage you to do is to really pick something that is going to make you excited to wake up and to start the day. And it will honestly have a profound impact on you getting to bed and you wanting to actually start the day on your own foot. Awesome. Take care of.
