Short YouTube monologue arguing that supplements are necessary to reach optimal health because long-term nutrient depletion from poor food quality and cooking cannot be fully corrected by food alone; supplements fill nutritional gaps and duration/quantity matter.
Supplements are critically important in individuals getting to their optimal state of health. And I'm often asked the question can I get well without supplements? Is nutrition going to be enough? And I'm going to tell you no it's not. Unfortunately you didn't get this way overnight and you're not necessarily going to get better overnight either. Our cells over a period of insults, right years of our life unfortunately through different foods that we've eaten and our food sources are poor, the nutrient density of our foods is bad. How we're cooking it, all of those things actually deplete us on a nutrient level. Therefore unfortunately food only isn't going to heal that. So supplements fill in nutritional gaps. They're key to your overall health and well being. So anyone that's walking through a towards optimal health, it's not a matter of am I going to take supplements or not, it's how many and for how long.
