A patient testimonial (Sam) recorded August 2021 describing an 11-year relationship with clinician Lori Esarey. Sam credits Lori with diagnosing celiac disease, managing subsequent health events (cataract surgery, ablations, home mold exposure), providing comprehensive testing and long-term care planning, and substantially improving quality of life and resilience.
So I came to TNT and started my journey with Lori. She listened to me. She really cared. She knew that there was something, she believed that there was something root cause that she was going to get to the bottom of. She worked really hard to find out, even with another doctor, that I had celiac disease. And then the journey started. Then. I loved that lifestyle I had before. My main ingredient was bread and I loved it. But it was impacting the quality of my life so badly, I was willing to do whatever it took. She did comprehensive and extensive lab work so that she really can understand what's going on in every part of your body. And then she puts the pieces together and then she makes a plan of action. I believe that, you know, your health is a journey. It's not really a one time thing because life happens. So this is a place that you can come and you can know that you're going to be well taken care of long term. In the last few years, I've had some cataract surgery and ablations and then I was exposed to mold in my house. And because of Lori's expertise and her training, she knew exactly how to handle those. Because I feel better now than I've ever felt. I can bounce back now if life happens. I have the resilience now to bounce back and I have that now over time. And that brings such peace of mind. My immediate family especially has a new comfort and a confidence that I'm going to be okay, that I'm taking care of myself, and so then we can enjoy life together. I'm just so, so thankful that God led me to her 11 years ago and that I now have a health that's better than what I ever could have imagined. And that she has helped me to not only understand my body better, but to empower me to take charge of my body and my own health. Sam.
