2017
Approximately 50 pounds
I had moved to Florida. I was in the process of getting my master's degree. I had gone through a divorce. What I didn't realize was all of those things rolled up into one had taken a toll on my physical health. Traditionally, my first go to is a doctor. I'm a super tough patient because I really only want to go once a year. And I did approach my general practitioner at that time and we did do a series of things. It could be this, it could be that. You're getting older, you've been through a lot. My parents, who are 80 years old, could run circles around me and I knew something wasn't right and I wanted to dig deeper. And I saw an ad for tnt. One of the first steps that I took when I went to TNT was extensive blood work. What came back was my thyroid was completely off. My adrenals were exhausted. I had what they called adrenal fatigue. And I also found out everything that I was eating, essentially I was allergic to. So I was feeding my body the wrong. When I started all of this back in 2017, one of my concerns was the weight. And no matter what I did, the weight wasn't coming off. And finding out about my thyroid and things like that started to help that process somewhat. Six years later, 50 pounds lighter, feeling better, energy. That's a long term goal, but it worked. I knew I had worked hard to get to where I was being proud, having my husband be proud of me, and he always has been. But I also knew that he wanted me to be the person that I am and the person that he first met with energy, wanting to go and do things and get out and be free again. And I began to realize, Even in my 40s, how important that was. The commitment isn't always easy. Active lifestyles. My husband and I, like I said, we like to travel. So you have to really make the time for you and the TNT team because they're counting on you just like you're counting on them as you age. I want to be in front of the game and carry my husband into the old age and still be traveling and still be active.
