Consulting isn't a one-click service like Amazon. It requires deep work: sitting with your team, learning how you actually operate, understanding details like compensation structures. A law firm might have seven different attorney pay types. Without that groundwork, you won't get real results.

He's like, well, I thought when I was hiring you, it was gonna be like Amazon where I click a button and then I get the output, right? And it was on— I realized it was on me for not properly explaining the expectations initially, because unfortunately, in a lot of scenarios, it's not like Amazon. I do need a little bit of context. I do need to be able to sit with your staff. I need to be able to understand how they work. How do you bill? How do you, you know, how do you just— how do you— Oh, yeah. This particular firm, they had 7 different compensation types for their attorneys, supervision fees and origination, all these types of fees. I can't just magically understand that without getting into the weeds.
