Two entrepreneurs explain why you need to pick a specific niche, like lawyers, and tell everyone about it. Marketing takes at least two years of consistent work: a website, regular blog posts, patience. There's no shortcut.
And I think sometimes when it comes to marketing and it comes to letting everybody, let the world know what you're doing. So if you're going to switch up and just specifically narrow down into a niche like working with lawyers, you want to let everybody know that you're doing this. You sing it from the rooftops. Let your friends know. Let your family know. Let everybody know that you're doing this.
You become known out there and it's not, it's not a quick fix. Don't do, don't do a one and done.
None of this marketing stuff happens. There's not a— it's not like, oh, I did it and I'm all set now. No, you have to— even if you're starting out with a website and a blog posting, this stuff takes at least 2 years, if not more.
