The founder built LiveFlow after noticing finance professionals across industries rely on spreadsheets but get different reports from QuickBooks depending on their sector. Accountants and fractional CFOs needed a tool to normalize those reports and find insights, so he built one based on what they actually asked for.

So, the aha moment here was to build a solution for spreadsheets because all of the finance folks would have their view of things. And if you talk about different industries, now we can talk about law specifically, it's widely different compared to other industries. Let's say P&L from QuickBooks for a franchise firm and the P&L from QuickBooks for a law firm are not the same when they look at the numbers. And the people who actually drive the value out of standard financial reports are accountants. And fractional CFOs. So that's how the match happened, and we started to talk to accountants and fractional CFOs more and more to deliver the product that many people see and use today.
