Before cloud services, remote work meant waiting for colleagues' computers to power on. The speaker used LogMeIn to access machines late at night or weekends, often settling for second-best solutions because the hardware wasn't available when needed.

Not being in the cloud? Because I remember going— remember the years ago using LogMeIn and, oh, your computer wasn't on, I couldn't do the work, and you had to do it at night and the weekends when they weren't on the computer. Remember those days? Yeah, I do. I never liked them because it meant that I had to have second best on my life performance and my planning. But you know what's interesting is if you think about it, little devil's advocate, not for the pricing part, but just the cloud part, we're pretty much all on the cloud.
