70% of people in this country once they pass the age of 65 need some form of long term care and what ends up happening for so many people that think it's not going to happen to them and they don't plan for it, they don't prepare for it, guess who gets an end up being the caregiver, the family, the spouse, children. They're either helping to pay for things and or do the caregiving themselves and you become a burden on your family instead of having prepared to eliminate not only you being a burden on your family but not having the quality of life and care that you deserve and the dignity you should have when you get to that stage of life.
If you don't think that's not going to happen to you I mean think twice. At least be ready for some kind of stacked up strategy for your care so that your family, your kids don't get burdened by the emotional mental and the financial burden of it.
