In this Day 10 entry of the 30/30 Career Transformational Challenge, the presenter asks viewers to consider what connects their passion, purpose, and value. She argues that most people chase passion first, but true fulfillment comes from identifying purpose, which then reveals one’s value to an organization, and finally ignites genuine passion. The monologue offers reflective questions about why you do the work you do, encourages viewers to articulate their purpose each morning, and frames purpose as the driver of value and passion. The speaker emphasizes that everyone has a purpose—to serve and improve others’ lives—and that recognizing this purpose prevents being taken for granted. She concludes with a call to share the video, continue the challenge, and notes that the overall aim of the 30/30 Challenge is to shift career trajectories toward purpose‑driven work.

It's day 10 of the 30/30 Challenge. 30 bold questions over the 30 days of September to help you reset your career, to help you look at your career differently. For those of you that are joining for the first time, the 30/30 Career Transformational Challenge asks you bold questions to just shake you out of your comfort zone and have you look at your career differently. Today's bold question is: What connects your passion, purpose, and value? What connects your passion, your purpose, and your value? Everyone is out there looking for passion. You know, the thing is, if you find your passion, you'll find everything else, and you should know what you're passionate about, and you should have all this passion connected to the work you do. The question is, why are you doing what you're doing? Because if you don't understand your why, you won't understand your purpose. But when you find your purpose, your value automatically kicks in and the passion finds itself. See, we're often looking for the wrong thing. We run around looking for passion. I gotta be passionate about this job. I have to be passionate about my career. I have to be passionate about the life I'm living. The reality is most of us live in a valley. We live on two sides of that valley. On one side of the valley, we want to have passion. On the other side of the valley, we want to find purpose. But most of the time we're living in the valley, trying to figure out what's next. What should we be doing? How do we connect our happiness? How do we find joy? How do we find purpose? So for me personally, purpose is what I found. I found my purpose. I connected my value, and now I have my passion. So the question for you in the 30/30 Challenge is, what are you passionate about? Okay, that's great. But what is your purpose? What's the purpose you had this morning when you got up and went into work? What's the purpose you have for the work you're doing? What's the purpose in the career you're building? What's the purpose in the life you're living? Because guess what, ladies and gentlemen, we all have purpose. Every single one of us has a purpose. We're here to serve. We're here to connect. We're here to make things better for others. That is the, is the direct link to your passion. And when you find your purpose and when you have your purpose connected, you know your value. And when you know your value, people aren't able to take you for granted. When you understand your purpose and you understand the purpose of the work you do, you now know the value you have to the organization that you work for. So connect your purpose first. Find your value, and then find your passion. It's a little backwards. It's a little bit different from what you're used to, but I say it's not passion, purpose, and value. It's purpose, value, and passion. Thank you for joining me on the 30/30 Challenge. If you've enjoyed this video, I really appreciate it if you would share it with your community as well.
