Day 29 of the 30/30 Career Transformation Challenge. We are one day away from the end of the challenge. Hi, my name is Margaret Spence, and I'm the founder of the Employee to CEO Project and the 10X Leadership Academy for Women. I'm so glad that you've hung with me for the 30 days of the challenge, and I hope that you are more empowered to manage your career than when we started on day 1. Today's bold question: What will you do to rewrite your career story? You've had an opportunity over the 30 days to look at things differently, to have internal shifts and some external shifts about how you view the path you are on and where you are headed with your career. So my bold question for you today is, what will you do to rewrite your story? What will you do to enhance and live the vision and mission that you have for yourself? It's important that you own your own success, that you own it, that you are not at the mercy of other people making decisions for you. As I said at several of the conferences I spoke at over this year, it's more important today than ever before that you have a keen understanding of where you're going, what you want, why you want it, why you don't have it now, and what you are willing to do to attain the level of success that you want. You see, success is not on my terms. Success is not a bar that I get to raise for you. Success is a bar that you raise for yourself. You determine the level of success that you want out of your career, and you determine your on-ramps and your off-ramps as you navigate this journey to success. So the question What are you going to do to rewrite your career story? What are you going to do to reset your goals? What are you going to do starting today to make sure that your goals are at the forefront of everything that you do every day? While you are a part of the team and you're playing on the team, it is important that you lift your head up from the task of work Look out into the horizon, figure out what's going on in your world, in the world that you live in. It's important that if you are in healthcare, that you understand the trends in your industry, that if you are in accounting, that you understand the trends in your industry. If you are in HR, that you understand the trends in your industry. Only you get to manage your career. It's up to you to write your story. You cannot wait until you are terminated, outsourced, right-sized, merged, and put out to pasture to determine what your career story is going to be. Your career story needs to be written every day. I'm asking you, and I am asking you to empower yourself to own your lot, your large and small successes. I'm empowering you to pick up the pen, pull out a sheet of paper, and write your own story. You hold the pen, you own the paper. The story that you're writing is your story. It's not anybody else's story. So what do you want to write? What do you want to define? What are you going to put on that blank sheet of paper that is your career? It's up to you to be empowered and emboldened to live the life you want. I hope that you've enjoyed the 30-day challenge. This is day 29. I have one video left. And that one is going to be the most powerful one that I have set forth on this 30-day challenge. So I want you to stay tuned and join me on day 30. I'm also going to do a live program in the month of October that I'd like you to join as well. Thank you for joining me on the 30-day challenge.
