A brief, light-hearted "This or That" exchange between two speakers where one asks rapid preference questions (e.g., time travel vs knowing the future, mullet vs perm, e-commerce vs real estate). The speakers trade short responses and reminisce briefly (mentioning an '80s party and Amazon stores). Tone is casual and playful.
Go back to age five with everything you know now or know everything your future self will learn.
I don't want to go back. I want to go forward.
Mullet or perm?
Mullet.
Yeah, we got one in there.
I had one in the 80s party. Remember the black one? I had it. The house.
E Commerce or real estate?
I like E Comm, dude.
Do you still have Amazon stores, by the way, or.
I do a little bit, but the problem is, is the platforms. The platforms are tough. That was like the worst business move I made out of all my career. Yeah, it really was that bad. I've lost millions, many millions. Not only that, I've lost a lot of face with great people. So even though we still do the right thing, it sucks. But E comm is so massively scalable. Real estate has massive constraints. It's cool and it's a great starter. But if you get in the right E Comm world, global community. Yeah, the world is your oyster for sure.
