A short-form YouTube monologue by Mark Evans DM describing a personal method he uses to 'turn dreams into reality.' The speaker contrasts past circumstances (circa 1996) with present success, emphasizes consistent daily hard work, leadership through building projects that scale (enabling others to take ownership), and collective potential. Tone is motivational and first-person.
Don't think this is hokey pokey. This is a trick I used and still use to turn my dreams into reality. I have everything I want and more because of this. And if you saw me before, there's no way in hell. If you saw me back in 96, you would ever think I'm at where I'm at today. See, a lot of people can fake it. Show cool. I'm telling you, man, I grind it out every day. I'm in the trenches. I'm just working on bigger stuff, different stuff. Now, I'm not putting the ladders up, going on the roofs like I used to, but I'm creating projects where we have 80 people putting ladders and going, going up on the roof. And we're inspiring them to become the owner of that company. There's so much more we can do as a collective.
