A short YouTube monologue (Mark Evans DM) arguing that priorities matter more than "balance." The speaker reflects on why they work, noting a tension between claiming work is "for the family" while family members may not understand or know personal details; emphasizes the privilege of being able to choose to work and a desire to mentor one’s children rather than simply providing for them.

Everyone talks about balance. To me it's more about priorities. So to me, why are we doing all this? Stupid family you meet all these guys or gals are like. The reason I'm busting my ass is for the family. But your family doesn't know who you are. Your kids don't know what you do. What's your kids favorite food? A lot of people don't know that stuff. So. I had good parents, but they had to work. You know, we have the luxury where we don't have to work, we get to work. So it's just teaching them. I want to be their mentor too.
