Mark Evans DM delivers a short motivational monologue arguing that "losing money is alright" when it comes to investing in oneself. He recounts being an 18-year-old from a small Ohio town with no money or credit who borrowed $2,500 to buy a real estate investment course, framing that payment as an essential, career-changing investment in education and drive.

Who's ever told you it's okay to lose money? It's okay. Money is just money. We make it so much bigger than it is, but it's just money. We all want more of it. The way to get more of it is to be okay by losing it. I'm not saying be reckless either, but when I was at Small Town Ohio Boy, I literally had no money, no credit. 18 years old, I borrowed $2,500 for a real estate investment course. I had no money, I had no credit. I just had drive and a dream. And again, I'm important enough to invest $2,500 in myself. I saw the value in expediting education and learning knowledge to get what I wanted. I wanted to do real estate. I don't have cash. I need to go out there and learn it from someone that's doing it. And I paid that company. So I did this. And I wouldn't be here if I didn't. I put it all in the line.
