A short personal YouTube monologue (uploaded by Mark Evans DM on Oct 19, 2023) in which the speaker recalls developing an entrepreneurial mindset as a child—specifically recounting that at age 12 they outsourced work to peers, paid them less, and profited from managing them.
You reached, like, a breaking point of sorts. Yeah. 12 years old, I've always been a hustler. Thinking about someone's asking me. When did you start realizing outsourcing was a thing? At 12 years old, I was hiring my buddies. I'd have six guys working jobs, three guys, whatever. And I'm making 30 bucks an hour. They're making 10 bucks an hour. I'm not saying one's right or wrong. It's just I was thinking differently, even at that age.
