Mark Evans tells the story of his trainer Christian, who came from Poland on a work visa in 2004, slept on floors and earned $200 a week, worked front desk and washed dishes for $6 an hour, then became a U.S. citizen in 2010 and invested $250,000 with Mark to buy assets together.
I was talking to my trainer, Christian. Guy came from Poland, 2004, work visa. He's like, Mark, for six months, dude, I was sleeping on the floor with roaches with four other people, making 200 a week because I wanted to be in America to make money. I wanted to change my life, help my mom back home. Then he started evolving. He started getting more confident in the market and himself. He's like, then I left there, came to Florida, worked at a desk because I had a degree in personal fitness, but it's not recognized in the state, so I had to go get another degree. So I worked at the front desk for three months to get my degree. Got my first client. I went to their gym, 25 bucks an hour, because that's all I felt like I was worth. Because there's more money he was making in two hours than he was making all day. And he had to go get a second job doing dishes, a Chinese buffet. He's like, dude, like, I had to. Not only was I making six bucks an hour, but I got free food. He worked his off. Guess What? Became a US citizen 2010. Guess who's invested in assets with me over the years? He's invested a quarter million dollars with me. I don't need his money. I want his money to help him park it in good assets, show him a better way.
