Mark Evans DM talks about building momentum by stacking small wins and practicing gratitude. He shares a story about helping someone in crisis, then walks through writing down 20 things you're grateful for: your health, ability to run, the weather. Momentum compounds, but complacency kills it.

Happy Sunday. Quick talk from the walk. Focus your energy on positivity. Listen, we all got stuff going on in life. Yesterday I had a big call with a guy and he's dealing with some stuff. And here's what I do. I actually like to stack wins and just get massively grateful in times of distress. If you will, just sit down to the left side of the paper, write down 20 things you're massively grateful for, and it might be something you're not even thinking about. I'm grateful I woke up. I'm grateful I can read. I'm grateful I can write. I'm grateful I can move. I'm grateful I can run right here. Running today, and I hate running, but I'm grateful because there's people that wish right now they could run. I wish they could get out, walk. I am in Florida and it's beautiful today, but they wish it could be a nice weather, they wish they could see the sun, etc. Very grateful of health, family, and all these moving things. Even the bad take the good with the bad. The truth is, most people are really good at dealing with the negative because they do it all the time. They just deal with it. What if you just dealt with the positive and understood that the negative exists? Obviously, I'm not saying not to deal with reality, but at the end of the day, don't let the negative control you. A lot of people are controlled by the negative narrative in their brain. So again, get back to the sitting there writing your top 20 things that you're appreciative of, great, grateful. Of thankful for, and just get massively grateful. It's Sunday. I think they said the Super Bowls today, which is awesome. Watch. I don't really watch a whole lot of sports, but I'll watch probably a quarter of this. The last fourth. The fourth quarter, I should say. But watch how these quarterbacks react. Watch how the team losing steps up. Watch how the team winning gets complacent. Watch it. Momentum's a real thing. Get positive momentum in your life. Thinking about you guys. Make today count. Peace.
