A short parenting/teaching YouTube clip where an adult (Mark) encourages children to set and share goals and dreams with supportive people. The video uses a concrete example—earning a $300 Nintendo Switch by reading and getting paid $0.25 per page—and emphasizes sharing goals with people who inspire and can accelerate progress rather than those who criticize.

So, kids, we're going to talk about goals and sharing your goals and dreams with other people. So this is Mark's Nintendo Switch. Mark, you've been wanting a Nintendo Switch for a long time, right? How much did it cost? 300 bucks, right? So we built this thing. We put it on the fridge. Drew, you like it? Yeah. So we have a Nintendo Switch, blue and red. This is what you want. Here's the two games you like with the controllers, etc. It's $300. We have a chart, goes from 0 to 300. And the way you earn it, right? You got to earn it. You get paid 25 cents a page to read a book, to learn and educate yourself. You get. Also, you lost a couple teeth. Let's leave a couple more. And you did something really important. You know what that is? You shared your dream and goal with other people. Who'd you share it with? Papa P. You sure did. You go with Papa P. What happened by you sharing? You told him how excited you are, what you wanted, what your goal time frame was and all that. What do you say? Or what do you do? Give me 100 bucks. What, he gave you a hundred dollars? So my question is, who are you sharing your dreams and goals with? Drea, what do you want? You want. You want a toy? You like this? Yeah. Oh, she likes this one. So you share your goals with other people. Do you like sharing your goals and dreams with other people? Yeah. And then you share with Nani what happened. She gave you money, too. So as you share your goals and dreams with people, what if someone said, mark, that's a crazy goal. What do you say? Thank you. It's crazy to you, but not me. Let's go. Right, Dre, if someone says, that's a crazy goal, what do you say? Say, no, no, no, no. Right. Good job. That's exactly where it goes. So you're close, Mark. You're $80 away. You're 220 to the $300. When do you think you're going to hit it? Probably about one day, nine days from now. How'd you come up to that timeframe? That's how many pages you could read. Because you get paid to learn. You don't get paid to do chores, right? No, no, no. You get paid to learn knowledge up in this brain. If you want to make $80, let me just cut the brain out. We'll get. Open it up and learn. You want to? Yeah, yeah. It's a Nintendo Switch. So the question is, who are you sharing your goals? Who Shared your dreams with. More importantly, are they inspiring you? Are they talking smack to you, or they, you know, uplifting you? More importantly, if you share your goals with the right people, they might more than likely can make your dreams become reality way quicker. The people above you that are crushing it, they'll always inspire you. They'll give you direction. They'll connect you with people to help your dreams become reality. The only people that always told me my dreams and goals were crazy, Mark. Guess who? People that are accomplishing their goals and dreams. So if someone says, mark, that's crazy, you say, you're right. That's crazy to you, but not me. This is actually just step phase one of the journey that I'm going in. I'm getting. I'm getting ready to get way crazy. Because if you think this is a crazy goal, wait until you see what I really got going on. Right? That's what you'd say. Because you want the Nintendo, then you want the other thing. Xbox. You want this. How does it make you feel when you're reading those pages and the books and all that? Do you like it? Does it get you excited? What have you learned reading these pages? Are you learning? Are you reading better? Are you reading faster? Are you learning quicker? Are you making more money? Oh, yeah. That's what it's about. So, again, start sharing your goals and dreams with people that can help you and inspire you. If people are talking down your dreams and goals, start either not talking to them about it and. Or go find a new group of people. Right? Because at the end of the day, some people either get it or they don't. Yes. Yep. Dre, you want something. What do you want? What's your goals? That's your goal. Let's get the work. Let's get the work. Let's get the work. All right. See you guys on the other side. Have an amazing day.
