Mark Evans DM (YouTube video) reflects on how the Internet increases human connection and promotes a philosophy of "one to many" communication: creating podcasts, videos, and books to scale teaching and influence rather than relying solely on one-on-one interactions. He argues that recorded content can be repeated and reach many, while noting there are times for one-on-one. The speaker also includes a personal anecdote about mentoring "Kevin Steel," clarifying that "DM" stands for both 'deal maker' and 'dream maker.'

Could you imagine what your life would be like right now without the Internet? If all this is going on, then there's no Internet. Could you imagine what would you be doing all day besides storing toilet paper? What would you do all day? No Internet, no connection. I genuinely think we're doing it right now. I think you and I are more connected than we've ever been. I'm thinking about you guys, of how to connect with you at a deeper level. See, my thought process in life is all about one to many. How do I go one to many? Not one on one. One on one's tough, you know, And I've been Preaching this since 2005, once I discovered this concept. This is why podcasts are amazing. This is why I do invest my time on books and podcasts and videos and such, because I can do. I can work 30 minutes or 60 minutes and. And I can accomplish so much more because it can be repeated over and over and over. See, if I do one on one, the conversations, and I'm not saying you can't, you shouldn't do one on ones, but there's moments that you should and many moments that you shouldn't.
I'm more Kevin Steel. I'm here to help and teach him what I know and how I did it to discover freedom. There ain't no question mark. Kevin's. When he stepping it down, he's closing deals. Time to tell him what the DM stand for. I'm a deal maker. A deal maker. But I'm not just a deal maker, I'm a dream maker.
