Short YouTube video (YouTube Short) uploaded by Mark Evans DM (Apr 20, 2023). A speaker thanks the audience for connecting, acknowledges that people experience real-life struggles, and advises against dwelling on past hurts or adopting a victim mindset. The core message: acknowledge difficulties briefly but focus on the future because you can’t change the past.
I appreciate every single one of you. It's so exciting to see everyone mesh together, start connecting, having fun, sharing tears, talking about real life stuff. I think sometimes we forget that because we're all progressive and driving, but there's real stuff going on in life, and sometimes you just got to slow down and acknowledge it. Very important to what Bobby did say, don't soak in it and get all negative like, oh, poor me. And go back to your childhood and how your dad smacked you in the back of the head and told you you're a loser when you're two and a half years old. If you do that, you get so entrenched and you lose so much traction, so much time. I'd say shouldn't acknowledge it, but just move on. There's nothing you can do about the past. There's only something I can do about the future.
