Short monologue (YouTube video) by Mark Evans DM arguing that while many claim to be "busy," they often have "too much time" and excess insight that leads to overwhelm and prevents execution. The speaker frames "busy" as a relative concept and challenges the typical complaint of lack of time.
A lot of you guys talk about balance. I'm so busy. Everyone says they're so busy. To me, I would beg to differ. If you're listening to my voice, I get we're all fucking busy. Whatever that means, by the way, is very relative. I bet. And I believe, because I know, because I've helped lots of people over the years. The truth is, you have too much time, you have too much insight, you have too much time on your hands that you actually get overwhelmed. And while you're overwhelmed, you can't execute.
