Short monologue (Nov 6, 2023) in which the speaker (Mark Evans DM) rejects conventional vacations and describes integrating work and life: he enjoys early-morning work, combines play and work throughout the day, and includes family in his work/play routine rather than separating "vacation" time.

Some people take vacations. I don't take them. I take my life is my life. I'm playing or working. It's all. I think sometimes people try to separate. I've actually combined mine. My life is my life. My kids see me work, my wife sees me work, they see me play. It's just who I am. It's hard if you're like, okay, I'm going on vacation. What am I escaping from? Vacation, to me, sounds miserable. Because I love what I do, dude. I love that I get up at 4:30. I love that I get to work in the morning. I love that I get all my shit done before the family even gets up. And then I go play, and then I want to take a phone call. I schedule my days around my life and my life around my days.
