This is a YouTube video titled "Wake up and decide" created on May 22, 2024, featuring a speaker discussing the importance of building a company with the intention to sell, emphasizing the need for proper structure and team building to achieve more personal time.
I can wake up and say, I want to own this building. I gotta figure out to buy it. You want to change my company around? I want to build my team. I want to sell my company. By the way, everyone in this room, if you have a company, you should be building it to sell it. You guys understand, like, 70%, 80% of companies never get sold. Why the are you working all this crazy hours to not have something to sell? It's silly. I did it for years. And you don't have to sell it, by the way, but you build it to sell. That means you build a proper structure. You have a coo. You have a cfo. You have a team. When you build it right, you get what you want. Ultimately want time. You guys want more time? I do.
