This is a short transcript excerpt from a YouTube video (Want to Grow Your Followers on Social Media? Here’s the Game Plan!) featuring two speakers discussing how to use influencers and social media to generate opportunities and fundraising. They emphasize the compounding effects when multiple brand influencers amplify one another, the value of social proof (people publicly reporting funds raised/profits), a ‘secret sauce’ of posting repeatedly (three posts a day with CTAs), and using strategic partner mentions instead of self-promotion to improve conversions. The speakers give anecdotal numeric examples of fundraising/results to illustrate effectiveness.
What's cool about the influencer space? They actually start compounding each other's effects. This is what GC's done great.
Right?
Get the great brand influencers. These guys are like, oh, my gosh, you're crushing. I raised billions of dollars because, I mean, dude, how much have you made? How much have you raised? How many properties? I mean. I mean, you're using social media to generate opportunity for war.
A thousand percent. And that's if I tell why social media is important and why you should let me help you. It sells like that. But if I try to not make it off of me, then it's like, will it have the same effect?
Yes. Your secret. Your secret guy in the back of the room is the guy that made this happen. 100. He can do it for you. It's actually an easier sell. It's a better sell because you're not like double dipping in their mind.
Yeah.
You know, and. Or you can say, hey, I strategically partnered with Pat xyz. Here's what they do. But dude, just. I mean, just you sharing. Just close. Another deal from a, you know, Instagram handle never heard of. They found me through social media, but, like, I would start talking about that a lot, actually. I don't think you do that. Yeah. So it's like, boom. Just raised another 800 GS last quarter from social media. Guys, these are strange. These are strangers from afar. I've never met in person. If they were sitting beside me, I wouldn't know who they were. But I just raised 80,000. That's going on in real life, you know, so it's like, it's result oriented, driven. And now they're like, how do you do that? How do you do that? What's your secret sauce? And then with your team, you build out your secret sauce post three times a day. One's this, one's that, one's this. They all have a call to action and, you know, or. And then they start creating a compound effect.
