Why I Will ALWAYS Invest In Myself! | Mark Evans DM

Mark Evans DM argues that investing in yourself through books, mentors, and masterminds is non-negotiable. He spent $20 on Think and Grow Rich early on, later invested $50,000 in his growth, and says wealthy people talk differently about self-improvement than broke people do.

The deal I made with myself is that I would always invest in myself. Always, now and forever. I will never not invest in myself either. Reading books, investing in mentors, investing in mastermind groups, investing in people and relationships. I'm telling you, it's real. When you open up the door of investing in yourself, I would actually like to ask you guys, there's a lot of people here. How much on average per year are you investing in yourself? Is it zero? Is it a dollar? Is it $100,000? Like, how much are you investing in yourself? So when I invested that $50,000. And again, you're starting with where you're starting at, so I'm not judging you. But when I first started investing in myself, it was a book. It was called Think and Grow Rich. I bought a book for 20 bucks. That was my investment. That was a big deal back then. Because I never learned this concept of investing in yourself after you graduate high school, right? So I read that book. I remember playing his day and I'm like, oh, my God, this makes sense. This makes sense to me, right? Like, holy cow, I get the concept. We've all heard the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Well, there's no disconnect as to why this happens. It's very simple and clear. What are the rich talking about that the poor aren't talking about and vice versa? Now, I grew up with not a lot of money and great people financially. We're talking about getting a 5 cent raise. That's what I heard. As opposed to how do we acquire a company and make millions of dollars? Massive different conversation.
Kevin's deal. I'm here to help and teach him what I know and how I did it to discover freedom. There ain't no question mark. Kevin's. When he stepping it down, he's closing deals. Time to tell him what the DM stand for. I'm a deal maker. A deal maker. But I'm not just a deal maker, I'm a dream maker.
