This is why you hear guys like me and Tim Braatz and Sean Whalens and anybody that's doing big stuff talk about hiring mentors. You might think it costs a lot of money, and you're right, maybe it does. But what you're really doing, if you know it or not, you're not buying my knowledge. What you're buying is my 23 years of time. My job is to expedite my 23 years and deliver to you in 20 minutes. My job is to take all my struggles, all my pains, all my wins, and hand it to you on a silver platter for a small, very small price to pay. Do you think when you're laying in the casket and your family's looking over you when you're dead, do you think they're like, man, I wish he wouldn't have spent 35 grand with that Evans guy that never worked? Or do you wish they said, hey, he has a hundred million dollars in the bank. If I could only get one more minute with him, if I could only get one extra day, if I could only tell them, take five minutes of their time and have you just tell them one thing about how much it meant to me. You're buying time.
