A short motivational monologue (YouTube) arguing that people are 'played' by the idea that success is easy. The speaker urges listeners to accept that achievement requires personal responsibility, sustained focus on a single path until a target is reached, and willingness to endure fear and discomfort while rejecting distractions framed as 'opportunities.'
You've been played by the world thinking that this is easy. You've been played. You actually truly want to believe that you do nothing and get rich. Don't lie. I know you do. I am you. But when you realize that's not how it works, you get very focused. Because the only one that can do it for you is you. You're in control. This is why if you don't like flying because you don't have control, even though you controlled to get on the plane. That's all different story. But you have to get focused. You have to focus on one path, and until you hit your goal number, not else matters. It will be scary. It will be uncomfortable. You'll feel like you'll pass on opportunities daily. Because again, opportunities are typically obstacles in disguise. Stay focused. Focus.
