A short YouTube video (Mark Evans DM) that challenges the popular "10,000-hour" rule for achieving mastery. The speaker opens by calling the rule "a big lie," criticizes the meme-driven enthusiasm for logging hours, and warns the viewer that the truth may be unpleasant or "disgusting." The clip frames the rule as misleading and encourages skepticism.

You've all heard that saying about 10,000 hours to master, blah, blah, blah, blah. The truth is what I'm going to share with you on this, it's first all, it's a big lie. It's not true. And what I'm about to share with you might make you sick to your stomach because it's disgusting. Everyone posts these little memes. It sounds cool, gets you driving hard to work 10,000 hours. But is it actually true? It's not.
