Hey hey squad, we are back in the Movement by MK studio and I'm so excited to be here with you today as always. Today we have day 26 of the Beginner Babe Challenge which is focusing on a strong core. I talk about building a foundation in your fitness routine and having a strong core is a huge foundation and something that will really help you along the way. So that's why we're going to focus on it today. Again, you are on day 26, we are in the remainder days and I would be lying to you if I said I'm not getting a little emo. I don't want this challenge to end so hopefully you feel the same way too. So of course, make sure you have your challenge calendar. You can send me a sweaty selfie after this class, check off the core workout, and of course DM me. If you don't have the challenge calendar, don't forget you can subscribe. I'll send it directly to your inbox, and you can pick up this workout anywhere, anytime, with absolutely no equipment. All right, you guys, today you're going to be sore to the core. We have about 10 minutes together, so let's meet down on the mat. Come on in. We're going to roll it on down, and we're going to start out with a slight bend in our knees. Gaze is going to be up to the ceiling or sky, and we're going to start with knee grabs right here, extending that leg long, pointing that toe. Your head can be placed down on the mat, but if you want to further advance yourself, you're going to lift that head up. Just depends wherever you're at. If you need to rest it, that works too. You're going to point those toes, squeeze those calves. Good. If you need a little bit of neck support, feel free to support your neck here. Extend it on out. Of course there is something for everyone here today. I can already tell this one's gonna kick my booty. All right, bring it in, kick it out. Yep, that's right. We roll it on up to the top. We got it. 8, 7, 6, roll it up. In 5, in 4, we twist. In 3, in 2, and 1. Grab your legs, roll yourself up, twist your feet up at the top. Side to side, twist it out. If you need a little support, plant your feet on down. Twist it out here if you can. Feet are lifted the entire time. We twist it out to the side. 25 seconds. Yep, good. Little pulses, you guys, side to side. Yeah, yeah, stay with it here. 15 seconds. Any point if you need a rest, plant your feet down on the mat. You got it. We're gonna come into 2 moves in 8, 7, Pulse for 6, 5, lay down in 4, 3, 2, and 1. Lay it on down. Feet are up to the ceiling or sky, hands are planted behind your head here. Gaze is up. We're gonna drop on down and we're gonna circle it out. If that's too much, you're gonna come right here with standard leg raises. Just depends. I say it all the time in my classes, everybody's hips are different. So if this is too much pressure on your hips, take that lower impact option. Which is just the leg raises. If you need a little bit of support, place your hands underneath your booty to protect that low back, or whatever you need. Again, we're all at different phases and places, and there's no shame in modifying. In my classes, I emphasize that all the time. 15 seconds here. You guys, this is going to be a core blast. Little circles. We hold it at the top. In 5, in 4, in 3, 2, and 1. Hold your feet here. Beginner option, tap right here, staying here. Advanced option, 1, 2, 3, to the side. Yep, feet stay lifted. Still need a break? You come on down, baby crunch. If you're with me, you're reaching across obliques. Yep, good work, killing it! We take a quick little break. You got 25 seconds here, and then we're gonna start it from the top again. Quick, effective workouts is what this challenge is about. Anytime you have 10 minutes, you can pick this up and be like, you know what, I want to sweat with MK today. I want to feel good. I want to embrace movement in a positive way. Can you pulse for 8, for 7, for 6, for 5? Quick sip if you need In 4, in 3, 2, and 1. Take a sip if you need it. Good work. We're gonna be right back from the top. Okay, so let's go down into your knee grabs. Slight bend in the knees. Remember, gaze is up towards the ceiling or sky. Head can be planted down on the mat, but if you want to advance through this movement, elevate your neck up. Grab into those knees, point those toes. Let's go. You got about 40 seconds of work of each move. Day 26, can you believe it? 4 days left. Oh my goodness, come on, 25 seconds. Hey, good, point those toes. Yep, protect that neck if you need it, no shame. Get ready, we come up into your ab twist, we roll it up into the top. In 10, in 9, point that toe, bring it in. Come on, extend. 6, 5, we roll up. In 4, in 3, in 2, and 1. Hug yourself in, bring it up, crisscross those feet. Option side to side. If that's too much, I want you to hold it right here. Hold it if you can. If you need to plant those feet on down, go ahead and plant on down. If you need a little bit of support, just hold yourself up right here. Options, you guys. If you want, stay right here, and then I'm gonna have you twist it out with me. Okay, stay boat pose hold. All right, we advance through the move in 5. My abs are on fire. And 4, do not drop those feet. In 3, 2, and 1, twist. Let's go! Side to side twist. Yep, good. Little pulses, twist side to side, laying on down. 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Come on down. Bring your feet on up to the ceiling or the sky. Plant your hands behind your head here. Good. Options: we drop down for 1 and 2, we alternate out, or we plant all the way down, we circle it on out. I'm definitely feeling our workout from earlier this week in my quads. If you need to place your hands underneath your booty, go ahead and do so. If you just stay right here, that works too. If you need a little bit breather, go ahead and take it. 30 seconds, day 26. You are so close to the end. Come on, this 8 to 10 minutes of work, I promise, will make you stronger in the long run. During the time, it is hard, but remember, it is temporary. Everything we do that's worth it is going to be a little bit challenging, you guys. It's going to be a little bit tedious in a little bit difficult. In order to get that transformation, that result, we gotta put in the work. We got it. Legs are up in 5, in 4, in 3, 2, and 1. You hold here, hold for just a sec, reset for yourself. Good. Option beginner, tap with me. Reach, reach to the side. Come on, get into it, girl. What do you gotta lose today, right? Nothing. Everything to gain. Nobody's judging you. Have fun with it. Yep, 40 seconds. That is it. That is where we end today. But I'm gonna have you end in the center with some little pulses because I want you to build up. I want you to challenge yourself. Reach. 28 seconds. Good. If you're not feeling this, reach a little bit further. You got it. Breathe. Are you ready to pulse it out? We pulse out. 8 seconds. For 7, legs go wide. In 5, in 4, we pulse. In 3, in 2, and 1. Down on the mat, V up right here. Pulse. 8, 7, 6. This is where we end. 5, pull. For 4, for 3, for 2, and 1. Roll yourself up. Woo! Core! Sore to the core. Day 26, you are done and dusted, babe. It is a quickie, it is a goodie, but try— I promise you that core is on fire and you are building that foundation for that consistent fitness routine that you're actually going to be able to stick through. So good work, thank you for being here. Send me that calendar and I'll see you for day 27. I can't believe it. I'm emotional. All right, I'll see you next time. Thank you.
