It's day 8 and it is early. It is just about 3 PM here, and I've been home for quite a while after seeing the Olympic Flame, which was really, really cool. It was really awesome. I had been up to Montmartre not that long ago because we had some relatives visiting and we took them up there, but it's always so nice to go up there, especially when the weather is good. And what's interesting is it is raining right now, so so the timing was basically perfect. I'm also wearing a brand new Paris 2024 t-shirt because, you know, why not? The other cool thing that happened today was I started reading a new novel, new to me anyway, called Ripe, R-I-P-E, and the opening scene of that novel was really gripping and showed me something that I need to fix in my opening scene of my novel rewrite. I mean, these days you have like, what, 2 seconds to grab people's attention? So I need to make sure that this opening sequence is as good as it can be. And starting to read that novel was super duper helpful to me. So on the agenda for the rest of the day for me, some more French practice. I will edit this video and put it right here on YouTube. And you know what I realized today when I was up in Montmartre looking at the beautiful views and seeing the Olympic flame is that I'm truly living my dreams every single day. And that's what I want for you and for everyone, frankly. If everyone could follow the callings of their heart, the world would be a very different place.
