Go All In: Is it now or never?

In this candid, park‑side monologue, Mary Schiller reflects on reaching a pivotal "now or never" moment in her life and announces that she is going all in on two primary pursuits: rebuilding her coaching business using the Skool platform and expanding her writing and self‑publishing efforts. She shares how burnout nearly caused her to abandon coaching, but discovering Skool reignited her passion and gave her a concrete space to support other coaches in achieving consistent income. Simultaneously, she describes her lifelong identity as a writer, noting several books already on Amazon, many more completed but unpublished, and ongoing fiction projects. Mary also mentions personal health goals, such as improving her open‑water swimming, and emphasizes the need to prioritize time, eliminate distractions, and focus on what truly matters. She invites viewers to comment on their own "go all in" aspirations, asks for likes, subscriptions, and concludes with a brief, heartfelt call to action.

First of all, if you hear a lot of background noise, I apologize, but I was inspired to just sit down on this bench in my local park and have a chat, and there is some noise going on in the background that I don't have control over. But as I have heard people say here in France, actually, c'est la vie. Do you ever get to a point in your life, or how, you know, are you there now? Have you ever done this in the past where You've just said, you know what, it's now or never. It's now or never. I gotta go all in on this thing, whatever it is. And you just think, yeah, I gotta do it. I just have to do it. And that is where I am right now. And it's alternately exciting and terrifying at the same time. I need to adjust my camera a little bit because I don't know if it's gonna work, what I want to do. I don't know if the things that I am giving my focus to right now, I'm going all in on, are going to succeed the way that I want them to. But I have just decided that I have to try. And for me, those two things are two aspects of my income and as, as well as something that I really enjoy. One is coaching people. The other is writing and self-publishing books, or maybe even getting a real publishing deal. Who knows? I almost gave up coaching a few months ago because I felt burned out. I felt uninspired by it. I loved the people that I was supporting so much, still do, but I just felt like I had lost my groove, you know. I felt like I just wasn't totally in it. And I'm gonna make some videos coming up about what turned things around for me in terms of coaching, but suffice to say, I found a platform online that completely rejuvenated how I felt about coaching And I have already started to build a new space for the coaches that I want to support to help them get their businesses off the ground and get some consistent income for them. And I am going all in on using this particular platform, which I will share later. And so far, I am really excited about the prospects because it's given me a place to put my energy. It's given me something to learn. It's given me something to discover about myself and about what I can do next in terms of bringing my particular brand of business coaching to people. Oh, lovely hair here. Can you see me now that the sun came out? Maybe I need to switch angles. Let's see. Pardon me if you're getting dizzy. Maybe I will face this direction now. I don't know, it's all kind of the same. But in any case, uh, just really briefly, the platform is Skool. S-K-O-O-L. I have fallen in love with this platform, and I have created a space on there, and I'm really excited about bringing people in and exploring how using this particular platform can really help me to achieve something that I personally have yet to achieve in my business, which is a certain income level, a certain impact level. So that's one half that I'm going all in on, which sounds weird, but it's just the way it is. The other half is writing and self-publishing. I have several books on Amazon already. I have actually many more that are already finished that I haven't even put on there yet. And I have more in the works that are either partially written or mostly written nonfiction. I also have some fiction projects that I'm working on that I want to put onto Amazon, and I just love writing. I am a writer. I have been a writer my whole life, and I can't deny that anymore. So I'm also going all in on that part. No idea where that will lead, except that I have a lot of things within me that I want to express in these books, particularly in the fiction books. I have so much to share with the world, and I love using books as a medium for that because they last forever, even on Amazon. Even if they're ebooks, they still can last forever. I will always have them, and I will make sure that my family has copies of all of them for when I'm no, no longer here. I'm getting a little choked up about that because, you know, I have more to do. I have more to be in this life. I have more to, to create and share, and you do too. And so if you're like me and you're having this sense of, you know what, I've just got to do this now. Now is the time. It's now or never. Then, you know, just take advantage of that sensation within yourself and just decide, I am going to do this. That's all there is to it. That's where I am right now. I am hoping that if you are listening or watching this video, listening to or watching this video right now, and you have the sense that there is more for you that you will give yourself the freedom to go all in on something, anything. It doesn't have to be business, it doesn't have to be something creative. It could be something that you want to achieve with your health or your fitness. I have some goals there as well. I am hoping to get my swimming level up to the point where I could take a vacation that that is based around open water swimming. I would love to do that. I've never done it before, and it's something that sounds very exciting to try to do. So I don't see my age as necessarily a factor here, except for the fact that, you know, I know we— none of us know how long we've got left, but this may be my last hurrah, just speaking candidly. And I don't want to ever feel like I didn't give something all that I could if it was something that I really wanted. And I really do want these things. I want to create a business coaching business that impacts a lot of people's lives in a positive way. My mission is to help other coaches get their businesses going, start earning some independent income, and really see success. I know what that has meant to me, and that's what I want to help bring to other people. And like I said, at the same time, I have this other piece of me that is a writer and has a need to express more in that format. So I'm just going all in. That's all there is to it. I have no idea if this video was helpful to you. It might have been a complete waste of your time. I don't know. But it was something that I felt I wanted to say and put on record that I'm going all in as of right this very moment. And if you have something that you want to go all in on, please tell me in a comment. I would love to hear what that is for you and how you are planning to do it. For me, basically, unless it relates to those two things, you know, in terms of how I'm spending my time, then it's off the table for me. I'm not doing random scrolling. I'm not watching random stuff on Netflix. That's just not part of my life. It's just, it just can't be. If I want to go all in on these things that really matter to me, I have to make some decisions about what fits in that zone and what doesn't fit in that zone. So there we go. So, you know, I'm willing to give up certain things that aren't really that important to me in order to focus my time and energy on what is important to me at this stage of my life and my professional pursuits and my creative pursuits, as well as my health pursuits, as I mentioned. So leave a comment, please subscribe, please like. All of that helps this video find more people who might find it helpful. I'm gonna go now because someone just started using a very loud power tool, so I will see you next time. Bye!
