Mary Schiller here. I have done lots of things wrong in creating my online coaching business. I haven't posted on social media much. I don't blog a lot. I don't focus on fancy funnels. But here are 3 things I've done right. Number 1, I've gotten people onto 1-to-1 Zoom calls to make offers. I have used this strategy over and over again. It takes practice, but it saves time, and it makes money, honey. Number 2: I price according to what I want to earn, not based on what I think people will pay. There is no point in putting energy into your business if you're not earning any money. Otherwise, it's a hobby. If you want it to be a hobby, that's great. If not, then price your offers so that you actually make money. And here's a tip: price certain things lower for a specific reason, not because you think people won't pay more. Number 3, I have focused most of my energy on selling higher-priced offerings. Do I ever offer lower-priced online courses and such? Absolutely, yes, they are important for my business. But notice I said I have focused most of my energy on selling higher-priced offerings, meaning at least $1K preferably higher. You may think, "Mary, no one will pay me $1K or $2K or $5K for something." They absolutely will. People will pay you when they see how you can help. If you have money issues or money beliefs that look like they're holding you back, there's a simple cure for that. Start charging more. What do you think?
