In this live video, Mary Schiller streams from the Bastille Market in Paris, introducing herself and describing the bustling market’s size, variety of goods, and its Sunday and Thursday opening hours, which contrast with most major stores that close on Sundays. She shows a bouquet of ranunculus flowers she purchased, expressing her enjoyment of the market’s energy. Mary then shifts to a personal update, sharing that she has recently moved to France, fulfilling a long‑standing dream that began in college and solidified after marrying Jeff twenty years ago. She reflects on a major internal shift over the past year, feeling she has “cracked the code of life,” and announces plans to share more videos, photos, and blogs about her new adventure. The video ends with a warm farewell.

Hello, it's Mary Schiller and I am coming to you live from Paris. I hope this is working. This is the first time I've done a Facebook Live outside of my home using my cell phone, not internet, so we're giving this a shot and seeing what happens. I am at one of my favorite places in in Paris in terms of markets. I'm at the Bastille Market and it's just about ready to close, but it is a huge, huge market with basically anything and everything you could ever want in terms of food. They also sell clothing and shoes and all kinds of things like that. I came here to buy some flowers. Let me see if I can Show you these. So I got some ranunculus because I'm a big fan of ranunculus, and I just enjoy the energy here. I love listening to all of the people asking for what they want and listening to the shopkeepers and just really having a good time with the energy here. It's also interesting because most of the major stores are closed on Sundays, particularly the supermarkets. So we always try to plan ahead and have food so we don't have to try to shop on Sunday. But this market is open on Sundays and Thursdays, so it is a popular place for people to come, especially if they need food for today. But I just wanted to check in and let you know that I am here in Paris and Mary in Paris, and I I'm gonna be posting more videos and some photos and blogs and things from here as I embark on this incredible new adventure. And I also want to just mention one other thing, which is that I honestly can't believe that I'm here right now, that I have made the move over here, and that, uh, this is going to be my permanent home. At least France. I'm not sure about Paris, although I love Paris. But we have lots to explore in the country. You know, I've had this dream for many, many years, since I was in college, and particularly when I married my husband Jeff 20 years ago almost. And really, it's just within the last year that we were able to make this happen. And I have to tell you that I'll share more about this in the coming weeks and months, but I had such a major shift within myself about a year ago that I can't believe how much has happened in the last 12 months. Just movement and progress and things that I never could have dreamed of before. And I feel like I finally sort of cracked the code of life. So I will be sharing that with you in the coming weeks, and I just really appreciate your support and encouragement So, uh, a bientôt, and I will be on here again soon. Bye-bye now.
