In this short video, the speaker warns Italian online shoppers about a prevalent fraud known as "furto del reso" (return theft). Criminals intercept and steal items during the return shipment after a consumer exercises their right of withdrawal, leaving the buyer without the product and without a refund. The speaker explains how the scam works, emphasizes the financial loss for the consumer, and offers practical defenses: use insured shipping when possible, record a video while sealing the return package, and add a unique mark or code on the tape to provide proof of proper packaging. The video ends with a rhetorical question asking viewers if they were aware of this scam.
