Jem scales multiple businesses by having an assistant prioritize tasks based on leverage, then working in focused time blocks instead of a fixed daily routine. Sleep deprivation during intense phases catches up with you and tanks business performance.

You've done a lot of different things, obviously. How does that even work? Certainly, like, if you're running several different things, it's very hard to manage and think there's, like, no optimal solution as to how you're putting in your time. What I like to do is I like to prioritize, honestly. Like, my assistant does that. She knows where leverage is, so she knows what I have to do on a certain day. So she's always taking care of my scheduling, whether it is meetings or anything. And I have time blocks because I think time boxing is, personally, for me, very efficient. And it's not like I have a fixed schedule where I'm like, every day I wake up 6am like, if there's something that has to be done, taken care of, then I'll do it. And I don't care how long it's going to take, because I had that where I was sleeping, like two, three hours a day, four or five hours a day. And I did it super consistently. I did it when I was grinding so hard, and I did it for months and months and months. And I'm not saying I was, like, very close to burnout. If you do that for a longer period of time, it really, with your head, you as a person cannot function, your businesses can't function if your health isn't in proper shape.
