Short interview discussing how a jewelry business (Custom Cuff) scaled to £500k per month. Speakers attribute scale primarily to a unique, well-branded product that matched timing and product–market fit (e.g., introducing coordinates in jewelry), rather than a single channel like Instagram.
How do you get it to 500k a month? Because you make it sound very easy. Was it just Instagram? Was it content? Was it the products? What do you think?
There's a lot of just unique product. Like, I really believe if you have a good enough product and you brand it well and you like original and whatever you do, then it's a lot easier to scale than like, no one was doing. The concept of putting coordinates in jewelry when we launched, it was very much just, we're the only one doing it. I think product is like the main thing, which is like the perfect match of, like, time and product market fit.
