Matthew Kelly critiques the trend of posting screenshots and metrics online to show off wealth and success. Most ROAS screenshots are fake or misleading, and seeing them makes people feel inadequate. Better to use them as motivation than as a measuring stick for yourself.
As a general rule of thumb, I think if someone flexes their money on numbers, they're probably lying about all of it. Rich people don't share their bank account balance. Do you know what I mean? I've literally seen certain dons naming their names share receipts at beach clubs to show how much money they spent. And the one I'm thinking of didn't even pay for that because I heard the story behind that.
Really?
Which I'm not going to expose. That would probably ruin their career. But I.
Feel like I'm a little.
Bit of a victim of it tomorrow. But like, do you know when you go on Twitter, I think fuck me, amazement and shit. Because all these other people are flexing this stuff out.
Matt had that thing like a few weeks ago and you were like fucking.
I was like, I'm shit, I'm clueless.
Because you were looking at all these screenshots.
It probably stuff for Black Friday.
It's like turns out half of them are fake. Or there's.
No context as to how.
That ROAS is so big and like that. Yeah, I think it depends how you consume that info though. It's like if you use it to motivate instead of to like belittle you, you know, you can choose how you take it's the message behind it. Yeah, because I, I just think of it as like there's always a bigger fish.
Posting numbers is.
Like naval's like so one up yourself, you have to minus one someone else.
You posted a screenshot because you want.
To make people feel bad and that's going to make you good and bad. The ironic thing is you post a screenshot and there's some guy who's running a fucking hundred year old company and he looks at him, he's like what a knob.
