A brief conversational excerpt from the YouTube video 'AI Does Not Want Your Job' (May 23, 2024) where Matt Wolfe and another speaker argue that AI automates tasks like data entry and web research, increasing individual and organizational efficiency but not directly eliminating jobs—rather shifting required skill sets and hiring priorities.

I feel like AI has already sort of replaced data entry and I know for me it has like I don't manually enter stuff as spreadsheets anymore because I can do it for me just as good as I can. But it didn't take anybody's jobs. It just made me more efficient.
Yeah, I think jobs will change, right? I mean if you look on a super small scale like our venture fund. Right. As I mentioned, I have this diligence tool that does all this research for me but it doesn't mean that like I'm never going to hire people into my fund. It just means that when I hire I'm not going to be looking for that skill set. I don't need somebody who wants to spend time searching the web and copy pasting stuff into a document. I'm okay with someone who sucks that because what I want is different skill sets. If there's certain tasks that technology will replace, then just figure out what other tasks will be needed to support that.
