Cursor's new AI agents can take control of a virtual computer and work autonomously for 3, 5, or 10 hours while recording every action. You can set one loose on a coding project overnight and watch the video of what it did when you wake up.

Cursor just rolled out a new feature that claims cursor agents can now control their own computers. One thing that I find really interesting is when this cursor agent goes and uses one of the virtual computers for you, it actually records videos. So you can go and watch back and see what that computer did as it made changes and double checked things. So what we're seeing here is the actual cursor agent going and interacting over inside of his virtual machine and doing all the tasks that it needs to do to complete whatever it was that was set for it to go and do. They actually have the option to set it for 3 hours, 5 hours, 10 hours until done. So it could just go off and do a ton of work for you. You could go to bed and wake up the next morning and just see what it did over the 10 hours you were asleep on your various coding projects. I'm really, really excited to go and play with this one.
