This YouTube video (creator: Matt Wolfe) demonstrates a small, open-source audio generator that can run on a mobile phone. Wolfe shows short demo examples (e.g., the prompt 'sad trombone' and a humorous 'ghost peeing in a server room' example), notes the project is open-sourced and available as a Hugging Face Space, and mentions the generator only produces 12-second audio clips.
This stable audio open small is an audio generator that can do, you know, sound effects and, you know, short sort of sound bites, but it's so small that you can actually run it on a mobile phone. And they also open sourced it. And I actually did find a hugging face space that shows off what it's capable of. I don't know who named it and I don't know who picked these examples, but I tested the prompt sad trombone and here's what that sounds like.
I don't know what happened at the end there. It only creates 12 seconds of audio. Also, if you ever wanted to know what a ghost peeing in a server room sounds like, here you go.
I'm thinking maybe that end was a zipper.
