Matt Wolfe gives Claude Code a single unlabeled historical photo and asks it to find the exact location using web search. Claude identifies the spot by analyzing landmarks and street signs, then builds an interactive page that slides between the old photo and today's view of the same place.

I gave AI one random photo and told it to figure out exactly where it was taken. There's no geotag, no address, and I have no idea where this was actually originally taken. I added the photo to a Claude Code project, opened its new built-in browser, and gave it the prompt, analyze every visible clue and use the web to find the exact location in the attached image. Claude used the browser to search for any matching clues and somehow it found a match. Then I gave it a second task, use everything you found to build me a digital time machine. Since the browser sits directly beside Claude Code, it could take the research and immediately turn it into this interactive webpage. Now I can slide between the photo and the location today, click each clue Claude used, and see exactly how it solved the mystery. So Claude didn't just find a place I'd forgotten, it turned one old photo into a portal back in time. Save this trick to try it for yourself later and follow for more cool AI and tech videos.
